I'm driving to the car wash the other day when I see this black silvia, and thought to myself dam, I wonder how fast thoes really are? I notice he's just crusing the strip so I decide to follow him. He's driving aggressivly punching it here and there, weaving through light traffic, i notice it doesnt pull too hard. So last light before everyone turns around (if your crusing) lady luck comes on my side and I get a red, he's in poll position and I have two cars turning right infront of me.
Last car turns right on the 'all red'so I go to pull beside him, and I come up to his door and he punches it, I do as well and pull almost a car. Second, he evens up, and top of second he slowly gets maby a bumper ahead, shift to third and we had to shut it down. I stop at the next light beside him compliment him on his car and ask him what he's done to it.
It's Completly stock, intake exhaust with the stock turbo running about 8lbs of boost. hmm wasn't that fast at all, b/c that little sprint was perty much even.
Everyone in town is scared of these import cars but they're really not incredibaly fast like Muscle cars... heh If my Cougar had a turbo with 8lbs of boost I would have ate him for lunch! :evil:
