Headlights cracked?

I got into an accident a few weeks back where I was rear0ended and pushed into another vehicle. The insurance adjuster was out today to look at the damage. Initially, I told him my headlights were both broken because they both have what appears to be a large "crack" that seems to be in the identical spot on both sides. He is telling me that it's like that from the factory. Can anyone post some good quality pics of their headlights so or tell me if they have similar "cracks" on their headlights. Thanks

well i cant get any pics right now as it is downpouring but i can tell you my headlights have the same thing. so its probably safe to say its normal.

Both my Cougar's have had that same little "crack" that are in the exact same place on each side. I think it must have been the way they make the lenses, they had to "crease" them or something. :confused:

i do believe you both are crazy. that is a mold line from the factory.

I never could quite understand why there is a mold line there. Doesn't make any sense to me. And yes, i know what a mold line is. I work with molds for a living.
