yeah now that i got my stock cougar engine in (blew up the svt engine) but anyway last wedsnday i ran a 15.6 with a stock engine, well got the k&n filter but what does that do! i raced only 3 times, the 1st i got a 15.9, (raced against a svt focus, he ran a 16.15, 2nd race i got 15.69 (raced a 95-99 RS camaro, he ran 15.75, and the last race i got a 15.61 (raced against a nicely modded SRT-4, he ran a 14.23 , but hey i got my best time and thats all that matters right there! 15.61 aint bad for a stock engine, I miss my SVT contour engine with the msds headers that i ran a 14.65 in last year and got the stubs to prove it, but jrak123 is gonna build me a nice 3.0:bowdown: so i can't wait for that, 240-ish horse power!!!!!!!

240 wheel?!?!?! niiiice even if its crank thats still good. i think i get 230ish crank, im makin 199 at the rollers....so w/e the equates to...

also to the first post WHY oh why didn't you put your headers on the stockie when you were putting it back in?

ohh and 99ADC :bs:. If your still looking for intake and exhaust, which is in your sig that you are. I think you have about 60 HP less that what you stated.

think again. im on funny gas and i have just a basic built motor, SVT UIM LIM TB etc. so im actually doin about 159 at the wheels. as daily driving
but i started my intake upgrades, a part that gave me like A THOUSAND more at the wheels.
K&N drop in filter. lol. but yes i do make the 199 fwhp and ive got the sheets on here somewhere to back it up. look under the 2.5l forums dyno plots. but until then

nandalora's oval port 3L with SVT cams, headers and exhaust was in the 220's with no tuning. I dunno if 240 FWHP can be done with tuning alone, but thats probably a fair ballpark figure.

i dunno that prolly is at the crank but not the wheels, so 220 still sounds nice

wait wait wait~you ran a 15.61 with just an intake? Mind driving mine to a 15.61 :) Best i could muster outta my 2K 2.5L 5sp was a 16.319 *im truly stock atm tho*

15.61 ain't the lowest out of a stock engine, i think someone in here got a 15.4 or 15.5, i forgot who though!
