We just bought a 99 Merc Cougar today. We looked at it like everyday for a week almost. I thought I'd just stop in and say HI. I'll post a pic just for the heck of it.

I'm Cornbreads wife, :) I don't know how active I'll be on this forum since I don't know much about cars; I'm just learning to drive standard! But I really, really love the Cougar, it is so pretty!

wow I have a silver frost coug in Farmington too, mines an 00. Too bad I'll have to sell it or fix the tranny before we drive back home in the summer.

Trust me, you won't like Farmington, It's in the middle of nowhere 3 hours away from civilization. it's the worst place you could possibly live, that's why we're moving back to Cleveland. But there are lots of open roads with no traffic, very nice driving conditions

TUCSON AZ was way worse, and we are only here for awhile. The in-laws and such live out here so it isn't too bad and I've honestly lived in a lot worse towns. I got a pretty cool job here as well. I work at Bisti Aviation at the airport.

Thats good that you have some family there, Not that it's that bad of a town It's just so very far away from everything. Oh... and definately and be prepared for people cutting you off and running red lights, worst drivers I have ever seen.

hey at least you won't be there for that long, I've actually been to that little airport, We flew from there to Denver on our way to a basketball tournament over x-mas break. I didnt have to pay, but from what i hear its not cheap to fly out of farmington.

haha well enjoy your cougar

Wow, are you kidding? Small world  I live off of Campbell and Roger, and shop at that Lowes frequently. Strange that we never bumped into eachother! Glad to hear you got out of this hellhole. Hopefully, Farmington is better. Hard to imagine it would be if its really 3 hours from anywhere important :goofy:

I do miss the city but Farmington is growing fast so hopefully it won't be so...frumpy, soon.

The backseats look like a challenge, lol.

OMG you didn't just say that lol...

Farmington has stuff that other towns don't really even have... I know its not a great store, but there is even K-mart here.. lol.
I don't know what it costs to fly out of farmington, but don't blame the airport. Blame the Gas price bastards, its freaking expensive for Jet a and avgas.

I miss some of my friends from TUCSON and it did have a few nice things about it, but really over all it was kinda GHETTO.... You ever go to bedrocks(sp)? its so freaking dam loud there you have to yell the whole time.
