So I've been helping a friend of mine these last few weeks installing some Lambo doors, and racing seats into his '03 Cavalier. We always B.S.'ed about whoes car was faster, the Cavi or the Cougar. Now Lambo doors are done, seats are in, and shes all ready to re-paint the new body kit.
I go hang out with the girlfriend, and he goes to work (night crew). Theres another guy at work who drives a '96 Camero atx (350cu.in. with about 200 000km on it) who wants to race the Cougar and the Cavi. SO Camero and Cavi guys were working together and they were going to go race on break, but Camero dude gets sick and goes home early. Cavi tells me what happened and I tell him I'll give him a race :biggrin: he decides to throw a bet on the table, I say loser pays for next lunch.
On to the good part, I show up at work and we take off from there and hit the last red light before a highway. 2:00am not a car in sight, nice cool night 17C outside. Oh yeah and he brings his girl with him in his already overweight Cavi (not says shes fat, really nice cute girl, but the car has 4 10's bodykit, huge ricer wing, neons, dvd, cd, playstation etc. all that jazz, not to mention thoes door hinges weigh a ton) anyways back to the story. Light turns green and I jump about 1/4 car off the line, and we pull roughly the same through first, cherp second, and pull a little more, 3ed half a car he starts pulling then Betty pulls away more, 4th almost a full car, and top of 4th definatly a full car + some, 5th about a car and a half...then I could start seeing his headlights in my rear view. so yeah, then she pulled really hard from him because he governed out :biggrin:
So all in all I get a free lunch and braging rights around work :biggrin: :biggrin: ...now camero time :confused: I donno how thats going to turn out, Cavi said he half raced him in his winter beater and it didnt pull very hard :shrugs: so I donno.
Oh yeah Cougar performance: pully, intake, Dynomax exhaust single exit, stock 16's
Cavi performance: Custom Intake, Reacitve exhaust dual exit, Eibach springs and street tires on 17's. Oh yeah and hes running the 2.2L ecotec
here is his car domain site for a closer look, nice car but the page hasn't been updated, he got an EVO front clip now, new side skirts, and he also got rid of the flames, and added more stickers on the bottom of the doors.
