Cougar vs Prelude's :D

Last week... there was this nice moded prelude '94.... we raced on the highway from 3rd gear... smoked him by 1 car lenght.

Last day...moded prelude '99.. asked the guy.. H22 VTEC Engine..We raced 3 times from red lights to red lights...1-2-3...smoked him by half a car... he was suprised :evil: ....cant wait to finish my n2o project :evil:

CAI, WR Headers, SVT UIM/LIM/Throttle Body.
225/40/18 Konig's Trouble.
Yellow Koni's & B&G Springs.
Drift Kit.
ZEX 55 Shot Wet kit installed... waiting for a window switch and purge kit.

I guess I can touch at least 15.5 at the track...without nitrous.. what do you think ?? How fast do you think Ill be with a 55 shot ?? 15.00? 14.5 ??

In the future you don't need to ask. ALL 97+ Preludes have an H22 VTEC.

WITH a good bit of practice using N2O, I'd venture a high 14 second guess. What kind of kit do you have? Why wait for a window switch??? Play around with it, just be careful ie; use only in third gear and shut it down right at 6k.

yeah you'll be good for 14s assuming your able to get the hole shot. Its all about that first 60 ft.

how much hp do you get out of that drift kit? im thinking of doing that mod but only if it will get me the 5-6 hp. my friend has 17's and it feels like a new car now because of the wheels. i can only think of what 18's would do...

The reason I included the drift kit in the list is because the kit is heavier than stock bumpers... And I was asking for an ETA. And by the way.. it wasnt a "PERFORMANCE" list... it was only my "MOD" list..

Why doubt beating preludes?

They may be a little faster, but not all that much. Driving is a huge factor here too. Hell, I beat several preludes with only an intake. Its not like he was drag racing against a VR4 or a ZO6.

Would you like to know how I stumbled upon this? Enkei wheels gave me a full sponsorship to shoot for them, and 4 of my shots are being featured in their upcoming catalog.
