1999 Cat 112K Miles, Well over 5,000 US dollars in repairs (minus what I could reach on my own to replace / repair) I bought this car USED in 2002 with 30K miles on it..Total Purchase price of $10,500 after trade.

I have fixed every major an minor problems with this car minus the moon roof, ...And Flywheel..Atx car.

I want to save this PIG of a "car" PS..I still owe 3500$ on it...What Can I do? 3.0 Swap? Great car...But Just a total POS!!!

BTW timing chain just went out..$1000.00 to replace. Shop said "Scrap it"

What in Gods name are you doing to make the timing chain fail?

Those are good for the life of your engine, unless you run it out of oil or something.

And yeah, if it DID fail, you have bent valves a-plenty. Your motor is dead.

If you want help with the problems you're having . . . you should probably post what they are, instead of just griping about the money you've put in the car . . . just an observation.
