So whos all going? And how many people are you bringing?
Me, Chub Chub (Ricky. the newest MC memeber), Brandon (random tag-a-long).
I'm making a cake.
Oh does anybody have some stock foglights for a 99 that Chub can buy? He says he needs a cover, I didn't get a close look, so bring the whole thing. Thanks!
I'll make a name list.

Sorry I haven't been around much, work has been killer this week among dealing with other stuff too.
You guys can show up any time Sautrday, I should be around all day. I figured as far as food is concerned: I am going to pick up a few things soda and what not and then we can decide what everyone wants to eat. I was thinking if everyone chipped in $5 toward food that would be great. Also is people could bring some chairs. I have 5 or 6 but some more would be great.
No one should need to bring any tools, I should have that covered  with my box and my brothers everything will be covered. Including many specialty tools. I also have 2 polishing wheels and some nice waffle pads and a wool pad that I have to throw in the wash, if someone wants to wheel their car.
Since Ryans engine isn't ready the swap isn't going to be happening. So in that projects place here is what we have going on as far as I know, but feel free to bring parts you want installed..... Installation of Mavericks boxed sub frame and new Roush sway bar, installation of George and Lisa's strut bars. Ron's wheel bearing.
Other plans I hope to include after we finish Mav's sub frame is... I am going to do a quick how to so people can do this themselves as well as boxing the control arms and stiffening the toe arms. If anyone else whats this done Saturday please let me know, I will need to pick up some more material, and the cost to have it all done will be about $50(if we don't get new bushings)

Also, if time permitting, and sobriety.... I will be doing a Dif swap into a MTX 75 too. I think this would be a nice how-to so people know how easy it is.
jrak123
05-17-2006, 10:51 AM
Ha ha ha. I just keep adding.
For anyone who wants or needs wheel bearings replaced I can do that too. Any custom metal fab needing to be done? No problem. I have a benchtop drill press, 12" disc sander, Pan brake(is someone brings diamond plate we can make some floor mats) Welder, grinding and sanding tools. 12 Ton hydrolic press. You name it we can do it this day. For some of the larger projects showing up a little earlier would be a plus... George... Bring your cams just in case. If you can get there pretty early we can do it.

Well, tools you DON'T have are my electronic tools! Are we doing your flasher install? Will you have my stuff back from powder coating for Saturday?
"stab-o-shock" ??????
jrak123
05-17-2006, 11:29 AM
No powdercoating yet. True about electronics stuff. I do have a nice butane soldering torch and a pretty good DVOM. but very little wire stuff. Yeah we can do my light flashers too. I still need to get a switch. I may just get a cheapo one for now until i install a membrane switch panel.
Stab-o-shock... that is the little shock you got for your front roll resistor.

jrak123
05-18-2006, 10:22 AM
We should have time to do it for ya smitty. We can even box your subframe and control arms too. I am going to autozone to pick up some energy suspension bushings for mine and Marks car. Let me know if you want me to get some for you too. only cost's about $30 or so
Smitty2430
05-18-2006, 10:38 AM
I picked up Bat poly bushings already, we'll see how they work first. But thanks anyways.
I dont know how late puma1 and I are going to be able to stay so maybe we can box in everything some other time. Does the the rear subframe need to be droppped to box it all in?
jrak123
05-18-2006, 10:45 AM
Yeah, I am going to have a spare one there to box. I Boxed one for Mav. and then I will have his to box for the next person in line. I have 2 sets of control arms to box in ans swap out for people too.

05-18-2006, 11:01 AM
Ok cool! I plan on boxing it anyhow so I can show everyone what it takes to do it. I want to do a bunch of how to stuff for people that are a little scared to take projects into their own hands. Like taring apart a MTX-75 and replacing the dif. I may do a throttle body optomization too.
