I'm actually from Scarborough, but have spent many a summers up on Lake Muskoka at my family's cottage...Hence the name....MUSKOKN.

Our place is off Mortimers Point Rd...Fenn's Point...Where abouts are you located?

I'm gonna be up north this weekend...Keep your eyes peeled for a Red and White Tempest. Prolly around Bala or Port...You'll hear the stereo!!! :rofl:

Hey Eric. We live in Mactier where I grew up. I'm now a carpenter and have done most of my work on the the Muskoka lakes, so I know exactly where your family's cottage is.
Maybe we'll drop in on ya.:wave:
Port Carling is in absolute chaos on May 2-4 week-end so I'll prolly avoid it.
Have you seen the mural on the side of the old IGA downtown yet? If not, it's pretty amazing and worth a gander.
Anyway I'll keep my eyes peeled.

We're gonna meet up probably around noon on saturday and head down. if you wanna make it a day thing and drive down with the caravan, you're more than welcome. We still havent figured out all the details, but keep your eye on the CanAm thread. And we've booked rooms at the hotel there, so if you were intending on staying, contact Ron (Exelcier) for info.

So I will just say hey you two! If you can make it to any of the meetings people organize, they are a blast... I'm from Ottawa, 4 hours away from the next closest member and I actually COUNT the days till the next time I'm able to hang out with people... There are some truly wonderful people in Ontario - I hope you enjoy yourselves! :)

hi and welcome i gues i am a little late on this one though...LOL

and man i love Mactier....but from what i remember you could make better money as a auto repair shop up there...LOL Old Healy Lake road has claimed many cars..mine has almost been one a couple times...i used to go camping at the Massassauga every year..havent been for a couple years though...i have done piles of camping at Oastler lake too..

Ps just kidding about the auto repair thing..i have seen lots of beautiful homes up there too and i am sure you do fine...
