I remember, it was awhile and I'm sure it's sold by now, that there was a red cougar on here for sale that had lots of work done to it. I can't remember who posted it, but I left a post saying my gf may have been interested a while back. I doubt you still have it, but if you do let me know since my cougar is probably gonna be totalled. there are pics in the pic section.

my Coug is always for sale with the right price... LOL

on a side note... why get another Cougar... if you liked yours and want a bit more power go find yourself a nice SVT Contour... We like mine so much that we are going to purchase another at the end of this week... :)

correct.. Akrat likes mine so much that we often fight over who is driving it on what days and whatnot so this one will be his..

unfortunately they will look almost identical.. LOL

both have the same mods and both are Silver Frost w/black rims.. :)

I was considering an svt contour or a GT or GTP supercharged Grand Prix, but I just can't get over the lines of a cougar. What the insurance company says will be the biggest factor, depends on how much I get and what my rates will be now. and btw crispy, your cougar is deff one of my favorites.

thanks... :)

Also keep in mind that insurance rates on the SVT are really low because they consider it yet to be a sedan..

The Cougar rates keep pissing me off.. I'm 36 and pay about 80 a month for insurance and the car never sees more than 1000 miles a year.. plus every damned statement I get says that its going up.. apparently they keep re-evaluating the claims in WI for the Cougar and its making them go up :(

I pay about 40 a month for full coverage on the SVT which is great... not to mention the car certainly does not ride or drive like a little family car and is faster than a Cougar.

I pay about $50/month a piece for the cougs, but they think im married i have my house insurance with them and a multicar discount

and the svt gets a lot better gas milage than akrats truck
