View Full Version : Thread for pics from 5/9 AutoX School!
My pics are here (http://dglicoes.home.comcast.net/20060509-AutoXSchool/), but I ran out of quota space and couldn't get #30-#44... Basically you're missing more of Ross and Kelly going through the "figure 8" drill. There's a blown Type-R in there, too- Not the sound you expect from a rice burner... "Rrrreeeeeeeeeeeee...."
#27 is my favorite. Ross kills (and drags) a cone to a bloody pulp.

Cool pictures!
Not to pick on Ross, but #27 is a pretty neat shot. There's another dead cone shot, too - it looks like it's crammed up under the yellow car.

Thanks for posting those pics, Dan! And you know... I tried my best to kill those cones... not like Kelly complains about it or anything! ;)
I spent some quality time cleaning off the battle scars after that school. Luckily I think I only have one set of scuff marks that will need to be buffed out.

i killed 4 in row on sat in one slide, in the video from the window you can clearly see the chalk outlines and 3 knocked over cones and one in a guys hand all ready. Got some lines to buff out as well butt since its my race car im not tooo worried about it. Ive got some pretty big ones from the test and tune

 I think they worked pretty well...after some minor technical issues were resolved!
Once I trapsed about Aberdeen like a looney trying to find spline-drive lug nuts, yeah- They worked just fine! Thanks a lot for the hook-up!

beware of the goodyear plague. All my friends that have used goodyear in gainesville have had incidents within short time of owning tires whether its spinning out or hitting deer. Prob just a myth though.
Dan glad you liked the whizeels and tizires. When im back from school I might def give your trans shop a call. Im in drivetrain and im loving transmissions alot!

I actually don't even know if I'll be able to go to that shop anyway. I remember when I was originally looking at tires, that particular Goodyear store wasn't equipped to handle the proper mounting/dismounting of EMTs. I think I'll have to go to Centreville or somewhere else.
Freakin' high-maintenance Caddy owners...

Not me... just my majorly worn tires that shocked the hell outta the guy at the Mobil station yesterday. ;)
He asked, "What did you do to these tires?" Oh nothing...

Well its a good thing anyways mr ross. I know about 3/4 of the g-ville goodyear crew and I would not recommend them to anyone.
