Actually Choking in the playoffs is worse than not making it at all. Ottawa had the best team all year long but choked. Toronto had a crap team all year long, they didn't deserve to make the playoffs and I'm glad they didn't. If Ottawa lost in 7 games it would be a different story but to lose in 5 is just sad.

The argument that you'd rather not make the playoffs then get knocked out in 5 games is pretty weak too.
They were an amazing team throughout the season. Any hockey fan/player should know that anything can happen in the playoffs.
Do I hear anyone rippin into Detroit about getting beat by Edmonton? If anything...that was more shameful.
Also, as I said before, they did get beat by a very good team too.
I thought Toronto fans had more class then this!!!
Its one thing to give a good ribbing when a game is on. Sounds more like sour grapes!!!

pfsh! You should've been here when Detroit lost. Holy crap, they're still whining about it! Oh, and let me tell you...talk about not nice to Edmonton during their games either...the radio, tv, people in Detroit, are just horrible!

yes...but, he corrected himself a few points later, stating the Edmonton played better, and was the better team..so, that was redeeming...besides, he wasn't on the radio calling them the Edmonton Oinkers

actually if you've been keeping up in the lounge, I've been supporting Edmonton alot more than I did Ottawa. :)
Norcal and I even have a bet going that series. I never bet anything for Ottawa... its only natural that they lose in the playoffs... its what they 'do' :)
