Not asking if this will work, I'm gonna ask if you or anybody you know HAS installed/successfully installed a Ford Focus DOHC 2.0 Intake?

If so, was it CAI or ram?

Thanks,
Rhon

you will actually have to cut some piping off of the bottom of the intake where it connects with the throttle body bc of hood clearence issues (this coming from someone who tried it himself). and if you get a short ram for the focus, the filter will be a lot closer to the engine than if you bought one made for the cougar. so your flat out answer: buy an intake made for the cougar

When we moved my aem cai off of my Focus on to a 2L Zetec Cougar, we had to cut the pipe shorter to the TB (like what BD stated) and also cut the pipe shorter at the bottom. Also the mount which connects to the coil pack (IIRC) doesn't have a valid location to mount thus it hangs more.

So with some minimal modification, you can make one work but if you can get a Cougar one for close to the same price, I'd go that route.
