Noticed today that my painted dash is starting a spider crack. How do I keep some moisture into the paint so it will cease from continuing?

I don't think there is. I guess you could reclear it that would seal it.

Is moisture really the problem? I thought spider-cracks happened because of whatever you painted is flexible, and when it bends slightly or gets pressure on it...the paint cracks. If I'm right, then there isn't really a good way to stop it I don't think. But, I guess I could be wrong.

Spider web cracking in the paint? Sounds like orange peel to me, that usually happens if you dont do a really good prep job, like, do a light scuff sand with some 320 grit sand paper, wipe it all down a few times with alcohol and use a clean spot on your rag each time. That should help it hold up for a while. Also, i know that will happen if you use 2 different types of paint, (ex: using enamel paint with a non-enamel clear coat). Thats my opinion, but i cant be 100% sure thats what yours is doing without seeing pics. By the way, I paint helicopters for the Marine Corps, so i know my paint.
