O.k. I'm not that knowledgable about these two mods. My friend says the flywheel is a great buy, but can i install it myself? Is it easy for someone with no experience on the matter and low vocab when it comes to instruction manual for mods? How much hp gain?

THen the Venom COntroller. I have a Jet chip which is awesome, but i keep hearing about this thing. What is it? How much $? Where do I get it from and how easy is it to install?

I would really appreciate any help. I've pretty much covered the I/H/E now, so this will be next.

THanx,

ATX cannot do the FLywheel, but there is a shift kit somewhere for your tranny, I would look into that. The Venom Controller, I have hear good and bad things about it, so it's up to you. Since you have an ATX, I would reccomend a ZEX kit. Will perfectly compliment your current mods, also look at a SVT intake manifold and Throttle body.

msds headers with y pipe are proven to be the biggest power adders for the 2.5 engine.. i will add them this summer but want a big brake kit first

Does anyone know the name of that shift kit? That sounds great, i didn't know they had one for ATX Wow, that would help so much for better shifting!! Where would i get one? And I just got my dual yodude, and MSDS is on the way so I need the best next mod, that's really what i need to know. I had the NOS nitrous system, but i had the dry kit, and i don't have a fuel pressure regulator, and i'm not about to go with a wet kit, no way, too dangerous, i wanna keep my car for about 2years, and i want a descent resale, not with nitrous i won't.

THanx guys

You don't have a feul pressure regulator? i think you need to recheck that one my friend.
the fpr runs off vaccum and the zex kit is a perfect bolt in for it. the control module eliminates the pain in the ass solenoids other kits use

The Zex doesn't have the solenoids? WOW, that sounds great. Any about the Fuel pressure regulator, I went to the dealership because i couldn't find the return line or the fuel pressure regulator, and they said for this 2000 model there was a regulator sort of thing in the fuel tank, or something i didn't quite understand. I did get the run a round up there, and a mechanic looked confused while looking under my hood and couldn't find them either. I stayed until i got an answer, and one guy just said no and told me about no FPR and no FRL so i sent the NOS kit back.

If you guys can tell me where they are that'd be great. The dealership has been redecorating so all of their books on the COugar are in storage so i haven't had any luck.I would love to have a ZEX kit man, i wanted nitrous from the beginning, after my headers i'll get it if you guys help.

Please let me know where the two are.

All cougars made from about July 99 on have a returnless fuel system. That means that your 2000 will definitely be returnless. Mine is a 99 that was built in August 99, and I have a returnless fuel system. Trevor pointed out to me that 99's built after a certain date are basically 2000s, and that there a few differences.
