I have been looking at the walpro to replace my fuel pump, do any of you have any recommedations?

walbro is a good pump, but there is not a direct replacement for the cougar. it has to be slightly modified. the best "direct replacement" buy is the svt focus fuel pump. which is what alot of the 3.0 guys use including myself for the swap. i believe its also cheaper than a walbro also.
