under $100...I was looking around ebay and most of them are going for around $65-$85 with no games.
EDIT: there were a few systems for like $50.

if u can u should try and get one of the older ones....the origional ones...the newer ones were made cheaper and came with problems in the main coding...
the firmware for the old ones actual has a self check program in it...

yeah....I was at Carls for the day yesterday and we were all sitting around playing the original NES Super Mario on his XBOX. It's cool having all those games on one system
Alex (Christine's son) loves XBOX, and was playing Halo 2 like a pro (he's never played it before) just before we started Mario Bros...he tried Mario and well...wasn't a pro at it. Let's just say that the games we mastered back in the day are harder for the "newer" generation. The fact you only could use 2 buttons seemed pretty complex to him over the 5+ he uses on his Xbox, and the fact you died so easily made him dead and game over by level 1-3. :rofl:
I just enjoyed playing the old games without having to drag out the 'ol NES.
Oh, and if anyone wants to trade an NES (with gun and original box) and an SNES for an Xbox.....I'll hook ya up with Nintendo's finest.

yeah, I'm more or less looking for someone who wants to get rid of one. someone at work just yelled over to me that he has one and hasn't ever played it...we'll see what happens there.

I still have my original NES...Sitting in the original box too.
It was the delux set, so it came with the box, two controllers, gun (grey, not orange), and the robot. Came with Duck Hunt and Gyromite.
I still break it out once in a while.:rofl:

...and as of tomorrow, I'll have an XBOX :)
EDIT: Oh, and Mark, I bought my PS2 one month after it first came out (paid like $350, it came with DVD adapter and extra control + memory card) and it still works perfectly to this day.
and to everyone with the NES....before you use it, don't forget to blow it :rofl:

Yeah, I have the slim one, I heard the original ones are better. :(

Oh....and I got the XBOX today....for the great price of NOTHING. I cannot believe he won't take payment....but he just said "it's not like I used it".
All the cables are still in the packaging, it has 2 controllers (one blue one green) and has Star Wars Knights of the Old republic still in the packaging.

Hard drives ordered. Total of 99.98 for the two.

The chips are finally available. I just ordered both chips and they should be here wed/thursday. The hard drives came in this past wednesday....woohoo.
