I've been runing the Cougar in STX but receient mods will force it into SM.. Having just bought a Honda FiTSport with paddel shift, I think it would be more fun to autox but can't decide on HS or GS.. Any idea what class the NA'd 1.5L 5 door belongs??:confused:

more than likely its in HS with a motor that size. But run the coug in SM its a fun place to be. I just took 3rd raw today and 2nd in SM class, granted thats in a 3L with all the bells, but the atx ran good there last year too,

I'd be really suprised if it didn't end up in HS.

you wouldnt think it but HS cars can be competitive. theres a saturn that runs with me thats on V710's, that thing is fast and he drives the hell outta it

I did a little checking, and with power and weight that are very similar to the Mini Cooper it seems like a perfect fit in HS.

Thanks guys for your input.. When I get the chance I'll enter in HS S/T and see how it does.. It is realy set up for autoX events. This should be fun.:rofl:

I recommend checking the rules (free online at SCCA.org).
If your specific vehicle is not specifically listed, contact the SCCA folks by phone or via SCCA.org link. I've done this in the past and they respond quickly and are very helpful.
Remember, if you put your car in the incorrect class either intentiontally or not, you can be disqualified.
