This is the picture of the hood scoop that I would like to sell.

The whitish "line" at the top is not a crack of any sort. There is no physical indent as it would look. It looks as though it was scratched slightly, but you can't feel a mark. Overall near perfect condition I would say.

Yeah no sh!t.

How do these mount anyway? Is it just 3M tape? Cuz I have had one in the past that had bolts molded into the fiberglass on the underside of the scoop. So you just drilled some holes on the hood, lined up the scoop and stuck the bolts through, put on a washer and a lucknut and it was secure. But I don't think this one has and bolts. I think it just mounts with 3M tape? Am I right?

Again - this hoodscoop has 3 molded tabs on the bottom that looks as though a screw would go through? I'm completely unfamiliar with scoops, molding, or bodywork and I just don't wanna spend the extra money to have it painted, so I'm selling it so I can buy an intake.

Jeez...I understand everyone's situation but there is no reason for this thread to litter the forums. Everything is over.

But...99cougarred and seaneyo99 if you two are still interested in a Visteon hood scoop. I can sell you one for $100 plus shipping. Perfect condition. I only have one though. I bought it from scottina a while back, but it is the style that has a black piece of plastic instead of an actual hole in the scoop. It is already painted gold to match scottina's cougar. It does mount more securely than the other style though. It mounts by eight bolts which are pre-molded into the scoop. All you need to do is drill some holes, slip the scoop into place and screw on the lock-nuts. I'll post pics in a minute.

Ohh...i see. I didn't think that Visteon made a scoop with the black plastic stuff. Okay...well, then it is a Roush scoop, and it mounts pretty dang securely!
