i dont kno if it works, i dont think it would... but if u check out his feedback people did say they felt a gain in power... i guess its up to u if u want to risk the perfomance of your car on a $12 "chip" on ebay....:shrug:

Its a gimmick..its been around forever..its a device that tricks the computer in to thinking you're pulling in colder air than you actually are. It hen adjusts your a/f accordingly . You could actually make one yourself for less.

Yea, and I used to sell fake hits of acid back in the early 90s.....with repeat customers. Convince someone that they are feeling something, and they will believe it is true. Look how many yahoos actually believe they felt more power by installing a K&N filter. Everybody with more than just a brain stem knows it is impossible to notice any gain under 10hp, but still some idiots believe they feel the difference. Same thing here, they believe that this will give them 20hp, so they believe they can feel the difference.

Does it actually work? Yes, it is a poor mans way of advancing the timing. Put it this way, in my car I turn the distributor and gain power on the dyno...tricking the PCM to think the air is much colder than it is has almost the same effect. Unfortunatly you have NO control over the actual timing this way...hence "poor mans" way.

i bought on of these chips a while ago. just as a "hey why not waste money to see if this stuff is ne good" and i dk. i noticed a little tiny difference. but i later took it out. could it have been this chip that saved my ass from an oncomming 18 wheeler i dk. but i would say save the money and buy someother stuff for you car
