View Full Version : Fusion 3L vs Altima 3.5L

On the way back from a Winery (I know I know)
we stopped on a country road near where we live
(in the sticks no houses or cars around) and raced.
It just finished raining so we both started bad. I jumped
half a car lead right away (she was spinning alot)
I walked the back of my car to the front of hers by 50mph.
That stopped and then she just started to run right by me.
We shut down around 65 70 and she had already pulled even
with me and was quickly on her way to pass me.
Technically The Fusion won but in the 1/4 on dry track I would
say she'd get me by atleast 3 cars if not more. I was still pretty
proud of the 3L ATX 6 speed!:)

yeah I think I'm gonna take the Fusion to the track this Wed. after
work if it's not raining to see what it runs. I need to get the Coug
back together so I can try and get some track times with that too.

yeah either Norwalk or 42 They both do Wed. runs
42 is like 15 minutes from my house but the track is crappy.
Did dropdescort ever run his turbo Zetec yet? He goes to 42
sometimes

no mike, greg hasn't got the escort put together yet. i might be able to get him to go with his svt contour and if all goes well i should be at norwalk on wednesday as well. i might even be there all day. "CRT-Performance" rented the track for the day and norwalk nights will follow after that. ohh, girls get in free wednesday nights at norwalk if ya didnt know.
i just have to replace my oil pan gasket before i go. i am off friday, saturday, sunday and wednesday. a little mini vacation i guess...lol

Do people have to pay to spectate. You only pay at Trails if your running, and Edgewater as well, well, on T&T nights.
