I am getting a MP3 player soon and I want to use it in my car. I have the stock single disc CD player in my 2000 Cougar. Does this unit have an input on the back that I could use for my MP3 player? If not, does anyone know what adaptor is needed to get an input on this unit if possible?

If I have no hard wired options, I will probably just have to go with a FM transmitter. I found one that has good reviews but a hard wire beats the transmitter no matter how good so I would rather do that.

Thanks!

it more than likely has cd changer controls and if it does someone surely makes an input for it like this........ http://peripheralelectronics.com/web/aux2car.asp

try www.buslink.com and go on the ipod interface for ford link. it's $100 + 8 shipping. it connects to your stereo, lets you charge it and control it when connected, and it has an extra a/v input for something else.
