aright aright i know i just got here, but id love to see some of the cougars, and try to figure out what i wanna do with mine, so lets try to organize a cruise, gratiot/m59 whatever or wherever works for you guys. maybe the moderators can see this and try to decide a good date for everyone, next couple weekends friday or saturday nights would work just an idea, not tryin to sound pushy, lemme know

I'll be doing a ncie "cruise" from auburn hills to Holland and back this weekend but i'll be driving the explorer not the cougar so I guess you wouldn't want to follow me...

Well, the hard part is that we're all pretty booked up for meets thru CougarFest. It'd probably be easier to show up to one of those and meet and greet...
We've got Brad's lan party this weekend, Matt's engine swap coming up, another SCCA run at the end of the month (oooh, Talon introduction!), and more...

I am down for cruising any time...just pick a weekend and a place to meet, and I am sure a few people will show.

the GLH (Goes Like Hell) was pretty quick in its day. However, the basic platform (Omni/Horizon) was crap/cheap. I'm pretty sure its a pushrod 4 cyl. turboed. It might be a fun project.

Cruising is always a good time. We've really only had like 1 cruise ever for MC-NEco, not counting out of town trips.

If it would ever stop raining, maybe we could get something organized

you just sail on this side of michigan or do you go to the other side of the state to lake michigan for any of the big races there?

I sail in Lake St. Clair. I leave out of port on the Canadian side.

ah... My roommate is a huge sailing fanatic. His group ususally does things like the Chicago to Macinaw every year and like a weekly or more race on lake michigan. I am getting interested in it more and more lately.

It's a lot of fun, but it's ALOT of work if you're competing.

Not our regata... they're very competitive! There's a lot of yelling and screaming going on.
