1998 Ford Contour SVT E0 - Located in Toronto/Niagara area
125,000km or 77,000 miles
For those that don't know the SVT it has:
2.5L HO SVT engine
5 speed manual
Power windows and locks
Power sunroof
Power drivers seat
Leather interior
Keyless entry
Pioneer CD deck
I'm the second owner of the car and it has been babied by myself as well as the previous owner. It has never been winter driven so there is no rust. The underside of the car looks brand new and there is no headlight fogging. Overall it is in mint condition. It has only ever had synthetic oil changes and they are done every 5000km or 3100 miles. The original owner even documented each fill up, oil change and other service in a black book i got with the car.
The car just finished its extended warranty a few months back so it has had full service. It has been super reliable and since I’ve had it I’ve only had to have wheel bearings and exhaust manifold replaced under warranty.
The interior is pretty much perfect with only minimal wear. The carpets are like new since they've never seen winter. The leather is the same with only the normal wear on the drivers side bolster. I also installed a Pioneer aftermarket CD deck and upgraded 6x8's all the way around.
Modifications include a K&N open air filter, polyurethane rear bushings, pre-98 sails, Superchip, Momo shift knob and short shifter, cross drilled rotors and 17" Masitaly VT5R rims with Toyo Proxies T1-S tires. It also comes with the stock SVT E0 rims and shifter.
I'm looking for a BMW M5 right now and am reluctantly selling the SVT. I wish i could keep it but it's just not practical so i hope there is someone else out there who will enjoy it and try to keep it in the condition that it's currently in.
