Ok...what do you guys honestly think i will run Thursday at the track? I will have all the bolt-ons, along with some drag radials and the nitrous.
All-motor =
35 shot =
100 shot =
Or = it will break on the first run

u should run a 250 shot and blow the piston through the oil pan. it will make a great shot. haha!!

UHM EXCUSE ME, 14.3 @ 98 was my last run of last year, and Ive got people to vouch for me. 14.6 was my video taped run from the beginning of last year with my new setup!
If you want, I can get folks from IA to come here and vouch for my time at last years FALL Import Showdown.

If i did post in it then i guess i did see it...maybe i am the one with brain damage...no nevermind...jorje still has some type of mental problem too. Mine has to do with memory...his has to do with touching little girls and having ADD.

Well, it was a bad night as far as times go but i did not break anything at least. I had some problems with the nitrous not working before i even loaded up on the trailer to leave. But i decided to go anywyas and try to see if i could get it working once i got to the track.
Well, of course i couldn't ever get it to freakin' work so i ended up having to run all motor. I was kinda pissed off but i didn't really feel like breaking it...i'll try that next time i go...so i took it fairly easy off the line. I mean i didn't baby it but i prolly could have cut another 1/10 or two off of the 60 foot time if i wanted to push it....man do these BFG's hook!
Anyways i'll post the slips up later but i ran a 9.5/14.9 both times. The second time i was playin' with the Xcal/PRP a little bit and tried to set the rev limiter to where i could not have to shift into 4th by the end of the 1/4. I had it set to 7500 which i thought would be high enough to get me to 92-93 mph. And of ocurse i was hitting the rev limiter about 100ft. before the end of the track. So, i just let off after hitting it a couple times and still ran a 14.9...AT 4 MPH SLOWER THAN THE FIRST 14.9 lol. If only i would have set it a little higher.
I'll post the slips later and let adam tell ya'll about his problems...all i have to say is i will be going back before this month is over...and i WILL get in the 13's!
Hey Jorje...last time you went to the track...did your car spin any in 1st or 2nd gear? If so...you really need to get some of these tires.

my track times sucked as well haha. my nitrous wouldnt work but we got it fixed. maybe its the same problem aaron had..no clue:shrug: so the second run was only like 1 mph faster...it felt like the 50 shot stop sprayin after 2nd i dunno.

14.9 is about what i would have guessed for you.
I would say 13s on the juice is no problem.
What was your trap speed?

Trap on the 1st run was 91.XX. Trap on the 2nd run was 87 cause i let off because of what i stated above i was trying to do lol.
I think where you really get me is in the weight area. The only weight reduction i had is the spare tire was removed :banghead: . I can't bring myself to take out my back seats and leave them out, and i sure as hell wasn't gonna pull them out for one night...well i might next time :rofl:
I am actually really excited to go back with the 100 shot. I'm not sure if it will hold up for the whole run but i will definitely find out! I think i am gonna go back on the 29th.
I guess it's cause i am so used to just seeing 1/8th mile times cause that is all i have ever really raced at...but getting into the 8's in the 1/8th is a goal of mine...with the 35 shot. ;)
What i really need before the 29th is a freakin' exhaust. I will either have true duals by the 29th...or i will just run with a y-pipe alone. There is no way my lil true borla is anywhere near efficient pumping a 100 shot thru it :rofl:

I have no doubt your putting more power to the ground than me. when I ran at cougarfest I was still totally untuned. The weight does indeed help me, Though your tranny mods also give you an advantage. (my tranny is all stock)
you where running 15" wheels right?

I'll post up the time slips tomorrow if i get time. But my 60 ft times were 2.1XX on the 1st run and 2.0xx on the second run...man do those radials make it easier to get out of the hole! :cool:

ah very nice! my best was a 2.29 with the BFG KDW2.
That 60ft is key to having a great time!
Get that bottle hooked up and lets see you smash some records!
