NW website

what would you want to have included on a NW chapter website?

I'll get it started up if it's something you all are interested in.

here's a couple ideas of what can be included - but please add what you think it should/shouldn't have

NECONW.com domain name :biggrin:
member@NECONW.com email addresses available
section for meet photos & next meet info
section to list members with a short profile/photos
Links to cougar sites or vendors you like
section for stuff for sale (t-shirts, license plate frames, vinyls, etc)

HAHAHAHAHAHA! I seconde the dating service for shaun and the hotels lol! and maybe even a webiste to night vision goggles and a lawn chair for shaun so he can sit outside of tad's haha! But yah sounds like a good start of ideas I'm blank right now, but I'm sure some will come!

A link to mapquest would be a good idea i think, if they need help to find out a meet.....Should be a page also that can have a list of everyone email address so they dont have to look at everyones profile. Just a thought..

Since there really isn't "money" anyway, I figued I'd pay for a year myself and then we could decide if it's something we want to maintain with any future fundraising. :shrug:

I'll work on getting something started for the website in the next couple weeks. the thing that I think is kinda cool is it comes with 500 email addresses, so... just about anyone who wants a NECONW email address can have one ;)

hmm I like her, I submited my info for the members area and I noticed that there was only 1 lazer red tail light in the banner.... is that mine or keiths..... hahahaha! Nah just bugging I doubt it's either, just a lazer red car probably! so far so good though, nice and simple!

Hey joey ill be over this weekend or the next to pick up the hood. I had to work this last weekend and everyone is busy for memorial day this weekend. So ill b over right after that to get it. Im gonna mold in the scoop so ill need that hood to use while i work on molding in the scoop on mine.

Also, for those who requested a neconw.org email address, I've assigned them, and sent you either a PM here or an email to your existing address.

hey goldie looking good, I think maybe we should have maybe a listing like that of our members and a link to each individual persons profile with access to there cougarDB sites and info on them so forth instead of having every profile on the same page! I can create a members site for myself if you want in frontpage or something! Doesn't really matter to me, just think a little link with some pictures to each persons car would be a little more personable and that way if we need anything changed we can just PM you or w/e! Just an idea!

re-arranged the member's (http://www.neconw.org/Members.htm) area a little. check out your page and if there's not yet info, a photo or a link to CougarDB or CarDomain send me the info :biggrin:

and added a Frappr Map (http://www.frappr.com/neconorthwest) so we can see where everyone is and might help when picking meet locations.

I kinda liked it before the most recent update. Where the members page showed names and a picture with also had a cougar db link.

I think having the pix on the main 'member' page is more interesting too. might play around with some other ideas over the weekend and see what I can come up with so everyone is happy :)
