I think i broke my shift tower bolt again, but this time i have first gear? last time it was in neutral? Has anyone hade it break and break while in a gear?

Nope. I did break my short shifter! How are you breaking bolts?

Mine broke in third, not a bad gear to be stuck in actually.

Yea trying to slam it in gear doesn't make the car any faster. Yes I understand the fact of trying to get to that gear can be fatal if you shift to slow in a race. Just calm your nerves down a little and don't shift with all your strength. That can sometimes slow you down. When I shift I just use the flick of my wrist. Your wrist can make faster shifts then you whole arm can. With doing that I don't take the chance of breaking the shift tower or bolts.

I got everything on bolted but i cant get the shift tower out it lifts about a half an inch and turns mabey in inch and seems to be stuck on something inside the transmission? anyone know whats going on here? last time i blew it the car was stuck in neutral and when i unbolted the shift tower it came out no problem...does this have something to do with it breaking in first? do i have to do something special to get it out? Thanks
