i am sure most of u probly thought of this at once...
so why not sometime in June or July, we plan a meet between North Carolina and South Carolina... drive up to a track somewhere either here in NC or SC and just have an old fashion cougar shoot out at the track.
I think that would be pretty cool... anyone else would be intrested in this?

Id like to actually make it to this meet.
Damnit. It sucks being stationed out in the middle of BFN eastern NC.
Money will probably be an issue though, guaranteed. I'm starting a few classes soon and I will probably have to buy $200 in books alone.
I havent even fired that combat shotgun I bought weeks ago.

As soon as my car is running Ill be available most fridays and saturdays. Granted, that is if my squadron doesnt feel like going to 6 day weeks again :banghead:
Ive never been to a strip before so my first time would definitely go smoother with a bunch of fellow NECO'rs.

Im not sure about upstate SC but near the coast in the charleston area we have a few tracks my car club and i go out to. Low country dragway is a pretty good track. or Dorcestor dragstrip..but its like ghetto but it has the best track in the region.

He had it chrome dipped and it took FOREVER.
AndyMan
05-13-2006, 02:21 AM
thats right.. 7 weeks... i am about to get some valve covers dipped in chrome... thing is.. there are two.. both are bigger then the UIM,.. more then likely going to be another vigours 2 months... but what i am concerned is about the price... if its more then $250, then XplosivePlushToy i am going to have to take a page from ur book and start the polishing process.. lol
XplosivePlushToy
05-14-2006, 07:21 PM
Oh jeezus.
Think about what you just said.
Polishing SUCKS. It takes forever.
If I ever polish up my SVT UIM I'm going to powdercoat the valve colors a high gloss black.
AndyMan
05-15-2006, 03:53 PM
the valve covers i have are already powered coated.. its like a blackish blue, but i am not sure if i want both of those dipped in chrome.. that would be way more then 200 bucks.. i could get lazy and spray them chrome with chrome bumper spray..
anywho, after this weekend i will have dyno tunning done to my engine, so any weekend after this one coming up is ok for us to do "battle" at a drag strip... ( i like the way that sounds) ...

Sounds like a plan.
I'm still waiting on friggin EH to gimme my damned manifold back, as is ilovemycar. This is getting ridiculous!
IM SICK OF WALKING!
AndyMan
05-15-2006, 11:39 PM
u will spend 3/4 of ur time in the marine corps standing up.... something sadly we all learn... :disgust:
XplosivePlushToy
05-17-2006, 09:33 PM
Which means I dont need to waste even more time walking.
But anyway, I wont be at any meet for the next 5 months.
I just found out today that my driver's license is suspended and has been that way since April 18th.
AndyMan
05-18-2006, 12:07 AM
damn dude.. that sucks big time...
how the hell that happen?
XplosivePlushToy
05-18-2006, 01:57 AM
I got pulled over doing 24 over in Georgia. My driver's license is a FL license though. Can I get an actual license suspension?
AndyMan
05-19-2006, 11:27 AM
sorry xplosive  that sucks about the licence, could a lawyer get it back for you???
This meet should meet on which of the following state has more memebers going to it.. for example, if there are like 3 NCers and 5 SCers, then the NCers go to SC to meet them in combat... ,
but if there are more NCers then SCers instead, then they come here to NC to do battle.. i think thats fair
and yes, i do find it ironic that south carolina was a confederate state during the civil war and NC wasn't...
XplosivePlushToy
05-21-2006, 07:00 PM
We should wear appropriately colored attire.
Those crazy SCers should wear grey and we should wear blue.
Then we can get matthew broderick to lead us into battle.
Apparently my license is just suspended in GA, but I cannot renew it until I clear up the suspension IN NOVEMBER. :disgust:
Of course, none of that matters until I get my damned manifold back.

I have my stock UIM I just dont want to spoil the moment of installing the EH UIM, the optimized LIM, and the opt. TB all at once, and then opening up with it.
