Sorry, thought Brad brought it up before. ;) I wanted some of Leo's t-shirts for CF... I loved the design, and even tried to get some from him last year prior, but never got a reply...

You wouldn't want them, to agressive for street, and takes a wild piston dome to make it work!

Already have them, I am looking for profile information and piston information. Ther person I am building the engine for is well aware of what the will be like.

I'd love to get my hands on a few (or a lot) of the ones with the Cougar. Loved the design, plus its a piece of Cougar history now man. :D But of course I'd take some with the Focus, as well.

Good luck with getting that info. Only way to get that is to buy one of there motors or take it to them or another shop and have them spec the piston.
What I do know is Kinetics got the cams from Leo, they ordered the pistons and did the custom machine work on them, there selves, i.e. valve reliefs, etc.... Of course it also depends on what your final compression ratio will be, than your piston to valve will change, not to mention if your running race gas etc.., which of course they did, I beleive at 13:1 compression. Your not going to be able to order an off the shelve piston that works, is basicly what I am trying to say. Custom machineing for sure $$$. Good luck, hope you know what you got your selve into.

I am going to do the macing work on blank pistons myself most likely, but I have spoken with diamond and they are willing to make some to suit my needs(I am thinking about going witl 12:1 comp ratio)
WOW...all the old timers are still around:eek: ZN...how you been man, was actually trying to find out how to get ahold of you a few weeks back to see what you've been up to.. You, lepak, and exigent need to come on over to my house to get the old race cougar going again!!!! Leo donated the shell to me and I've been slowly putting her back together, looking to make a rebirth of the WC Cougar here in a few months:biggrin:
Oh...Eternal, I'll check with Leo and see if theres any shirts even left and let you know....

Craig, Is Leo running at Mid-Ohio May 19-21? I was going to go to the race if he was or over to his place to see what's been going on if he's not racing that weekend. Maybe we can work on the old Cougar then.
We're not running Mid Ohio this year:cry: But Leos looking to make it out later this season, maybe Mosport. For the most part he is going to run the spec focus and were going to make sure the WC focus is 100% before we take it out. All us old timers need to get together....maybe at Bill knapps or bob evans:rofl:
