the 350Z was just single greddy turbo.
There was a RX-7 with us, it didn't sound too good, we were suprized that it didn't break down on the way to carlisle from buffalo.
We didn't have a red WRX, nor were we in a tent, we were under a hard roofed wooden shelter right next to the judging area.

For some reason, that exhaust on Pouncing's car looks very similar to the original "cannons" as Adam called them. I know the person who I sold my exhaust to, but I am just wondering if that is the same car. I doubt it is. Sorry for the trip down memory lane.

just wondered i mean i dont have alot done but i think i got screwed by my judge a 2 for my engine is BS and i have 18s all crome and they were clean and rewiped as i rolled under the tent to be juded and he gave me a 2 for them
IH8CIVX
05-15-2006, 09:09 AM
18s will only score you a 2. You need 19's or bigger by ncca sanctions. Ive helped judge their shows before. it doesnt matter if they're chrome or aluminum either. The lip size, how much your tuckin and how low you keep the car on that big of wheel are what is taking into consideration. Turbo charged cars do alot better at shows simply because its either 5 points or no points based on whether you have a turbo or not. just a heads up. Lee just by looking at your pics on cougardb a while ago i can ashore you pouncings is a different color. by alot.

i'm not apart of NCCA
IH8CIVX

i'm not apart of NCCA
no but the judging at the show was done by the NCCA. 4ncca.com is their site, James is on it as a featured contender in the wild class. The show in Carlisle was a "double points" show. Meaning all the guys competing in NCCA this year got double points for the show. Its something they do at certain shows to draw bigger crowds and hotter cars. If you got judged at carlisle it was under NCCA judgement.

so your telling me i was under wild
IH8CIVX
05-15-2006, 10:21 PM
no what makes you think that?
Your body determines the class...
Pouncing
05-15-2006, 10:23 PM
well i dont know how i would have been put in stock and then there was the class he placed 2nd in not the mild and wild the way it was posed on p&s as the final class list
cvsmightymouse24
05-15-2006, 11:30 PM
i was placed in the mild class
IH8CIVX
05-16-2006, 12:16 AM
you guys both should have been in mild. Widebodies are automatically placed in wild. im not sure how they are catagorized for instance... Nee's Prelude in No Limit waws actually bumped the carlisle show from wild to mild which kinda screwed him. So its more of an opinion, i can guarentee, without serious body work or a wicked engine build, you both will be in mild. Im basically driving a stock car with a widebody kit, carbon and some paint... but im still gonna have to be placed in wild. Competing against guys like Minho Kim is no easy task:bowdown:
cvsmightymouse24
05-16-2006, 08:38 AM
the reason for marty's car being bumped down was b/c his car isn't completely finished........and he's been showing it like that the same way for 4 years now......judges are getting tired of seeing the same thing over and over again!
