Who would be down for having a meet down here in South Florida?

i was thinking we could meet up at maybe City Place or some where downtown Palm beach alot of car clubs are down there cruising the streets and stuff. Maybe like a Thursday night.
Let me get some feed back on what everyone else thinks.

I would definitely like to go south for a meet, but Thursday? Remember that most of us will have to "travel" down there and we work/school so a weekday probably isn't the best idea. Keep us posted...

Geez, as much as I hate to say it, I think you'll have to count me out on a S. Florida meet. Heck, for our football team this past season, P'cola to Dwyer High School near Palm Beach was an 18 hour drive..... i/expressions/frown.gif

I think a night meet would be cool. It could be our May meet. Maybe we can meet around 5 pm and go and eat(make sure there are reservations)Then drive to a place to show off the cars.

Rich and I found the Rice Cave on Sat. night. they all met up in a closed down movie theater lot that was all dark. There was a CRAP LOAD of them. We pulled up and just sat there for a few mins. then we drove around and looked at all there cars and they were just watching us looking at there cars. They must have been thinking, "Damn that domestic sounds good, I wish my car sounded like that, instead of this high raspy sound!!!"

Well has anyone been to cheesecake factory ? we could meet around 6:00 or 7:00 ill make reservations for around 7:30 or 8:00 then we can cruise around downtown. We need a definite count so i can call up and make reservations. If you guys would like a diffrent resturant all suggestions welcome.

Which Cheesecake Factory were you planning on going to, Aventura? I love that restaurant with a passion. After dinner we could cruise to South Beach or Sunset Place. Either place would be off the hook, but it might be tricky to keep the cruise together on Collins Ave(South Beach). Just some ideas.

I just thought of an awesome idea...
Has anyone ever been to Dave & Busters? Its like a Chuck E Cheese for adults and its in Hollywood, not far from Miami. Try this, its a restaurant, bar, billiards hall, & huge arcade all in one. Even though I love the Cheesecake Factory, I know we would have a blast here.
What does everyone think?

i like May 12 cause i have something for work on the 19th and my girlfriend's B-day is the 28th so we might be doing something that weekend. I like the 12th.
