Okay sweet...I will try searching for the pillar removal on here too...it's got to be around. Also, has anyone tried painting their normal headliner after removing the fabric? I don't really want to re upholster it...but would rather strip it and paint it...any ideas?

well if you strip it there is a fiberglass texture to the headliner so you'd have to get a lot of primer on there to smooth it out.
as far as removing the pilars, its not that hard. start at the A pilar where it meets the B pilar and pull CAREFULLY. the clips should pop out. On the bottom of the A pilar is a trim piece that runs up the edge of the dash, pull that back and the pilar should come out
you have to remove the seat belt for the the B pilar and the screw in the hanger hook and a little plastic clip behind the quarter panel. pop of the insert in the hand grip and take out the screws in there. you can see the clip from there.
remove the rear seat belt and the covers for the rear seat releases to get the C pilar off

You will also need a REALLY big star bit to remove the rear seatbelt mount from the "C" pillar, or you could just barely pull the "C" pillar out and then carefully remove the headliner out the rear hatch.

ive always thought thats its best to remove it so that you dont crease an edge of the headliner. And you have to take the rest of it out, so you might as well take the 2 estra pieces out and paint them all while theyre out
