OK, on the 2.0 zetec throttle body, there are two long studs that stick out once you remove the intake manifold. HOw the hell do i get these off? they arent bolted in their just extremely tight!

bump! its two long prongs that stick out from the throttle body...please help, these things have no places for grabbing them with a wrench...wtf?

its just 2 metal studs that hold the stock intake on the throttle bottle. all you need is a set of vise grips, lock them on, and twist

yes but be sure to put a clean rag or something in the TB .....cause when the vise grips slip, and they will...you will get little metal filings in your TB..

ahh, very good tip. i didnt even think of it. also does anyone know where i can get a set of the studs at? im trying to put the stock intake back on, but i cant find any of these to hold it on.

im taking everything back to stock. after paying for the new engine, ive kinda lost interested in putting money into the cougar.

yeah most of the engine stuff was sold on teamzx2 since alot of the parts between the zx2 and cougar are the same. the body stuff was sold on here.

hey do you know where i can get a visteon hood scoop? arent they the ones that just come on the 2002 cougars stock?

they come on the c2's or some special addition of the cougar. i think there's one for sale in the for sale section now, go check it out. they are pretty hard to find.
