View Full Version : A Sad Day For My Cougar...
i/expressions/frown.gif My poor car got keyed last night!!!! i/expressions/frown.gif Thats right, parked downtown, came back to my car at about 3:30am, and to my surprise, my ENTIRE car is scratched to s#*t! i/expressions/mad.gif It really pisses me off that people do this kind of stuff, its so f@#*en immature! I'm glad its nothing more serious, like slashed tires or anything like that, paint can be fixed, and she'll be good as new!

that sucks dude. I was out last night till about that time myself...I don't understand why anyone would do something stupid like that. Where were you parked anyways? Hopefully insurance will cover that with some small deductible...
I was parked in the underground lot at Roy Thompson Hall. It really pisses me off that people would do something as stupid as that. I mean, what do they gain by scratching my car?!? i/expressions/eyes.gif At least if they would have broke in and took something I can understand why they'd do it, but what do they get from scratching a car?!? I just don't get it.

sorry to hear that mike i/expressions/frown.gif
i feel the pain - my kitty has a 2 and a half foot key scratch down the passenger side, but i don't think that even comes close to what you described.
don't know if you have a regular paint shop, but when i had my new bumper painted, i took it to a little place called Atlanta Motors and Collision. They were cheap, and very efficient. was totally pleased with their work - i took it in at 9, and by 2 they had painted the bumper and installed it, along with the grilll and the light, for $250
i would highly recommend them if you don't have somewhere in mind. they're at kipling ave. and advance rd, which is about three blocks south of dundas on the left.

where did u go last night? I was parked in the same place! You weren't at indian motorcycle by any chance were you?
did anybody watch the raptors game? man it was soooo close....the magic were leading by 16 in the third, and the raptors had it down to 3 on the last posession of the game. Vince gets fouled attempting a 3, and NO CALL!!!! they lost, but a wicked game still...all the fans were chanting,
"T-MAC SUCKS!!" whenever he had the ball, and mad booing him all the time! I've never seen the joint that loud...gotta get a playoff ticket...

Hey Mike,
We missed you tonight! So sorry to hear about your car, if insurance covers it why don't you try and see if you can get a custom colour done if you have to redo the whole car?!?!?
What are you doing driving like a maniac in Maple! I didn't even see you coming! I didn't see the scratches either cuz I didn't know it happened. Oh well, hope it goes alright.
SilVerbulleT,
I'm going to find out Monday if the insurance is going to cover it, i'm pretty sure they will, considering I made a police report and everything. I just want my car back to normal! i/expressions/mad.gif
I wasn't driving like a maniac! i/expressions/laugh.gif
How was the turnout tonight? Who showed up? I can't believe I missed a meet! i/expressions/frown.gif

Geez Mike,
Sorry to hear about that. I hate hearing sh*t like that!! I just don't get why people are so stupid!! Regardless, I hope everything works out with the insurance. I'm gonna call and see if your covers are ready, that way you can paint everything at once.

That's fu*king bullsh*t, man. If anyone ever keyed my car, I would just lose it. Slashing tires would be something someone hardcore pissed at you would do. Keying your car for just sitting in a parking lot is the realm of the spineless pu**y.

Very well put.
Thanks for all the support guys. The car is already at the shop getting checked out.
David,
well put man, and I did lose it! I freaked when I saw it, it totally pissed me off! I can't understand why someone would do something so stupid!?!
Dom,
if you could get the covers, that would be great, if you can't, not a big deal, i'll just take them to get painted whenever they come in, no rush. Thanks anyways.

Well, I've been pissed at drivers enough times to key their car, but that's if I'm highway driving and they do some dumb sh*t to me. But I've never actually done it. That's the only reason I can think of. But doing it to a non-descript cougar that's just sitting in a parking lot, that's pretty fu*king assholish. Either that or dumb jealousy by someone who got their ass handed to them by a cougar. (like the moron in the cavalier that I schooled last night)

That blows. You will get a new paint job out of it, but I hope you don't have to pay for it. If you bought your car used like I did, at least now you can keep it out of the "soft" cloth car washes. I don't know what the hell the guy who had mine did to it, but it looks like he went through one of those on a daily basis! From what I saw of the place Anthea mentioned, they did a great job. Check them out.
