Fast paced life in the military!

So, my wife and I were in the middle of a contract to buy our first home. We were not going to close until May 22 so we could keep the interest down. Anyways, we went out and bought all brand new appliances and cancelled our lease to our apartment. Everything was working in a time line and BAM!

We got orders yesterday! We’ll be moving to Arizona (Luke AFB, Glendale area) We needed to be in place by Sep 31 but my wife isn’t coming back from Iraq until mid-September so we had to extend a month out until Oct-Nov time frame :biggrin:

The new base is one of the best stateside bases so I’m stoked about moving, yet I’m kinda bummed that we didn’t even get to live in the house we were going to buy :banghead: Oh, and the house we were buying ranged in the $100,000 mark, the same floor plan in Arizona is asking about $250,000 :eek: a phuckin’ 1/4 million dollars :banghead:
