I'm probablly going to be changing to a water cooled turbo. As you can see from my previous thread.

I was just wondering where people are "tapping" into for the water going to the turbo.

I have heard of Foci "tapping" into both heater core lines.

I was wondering if I could using the overflow line that is above the manifold going to the tank, but I think it may only flow when the thermostat is closed.

I can't remember exactly where it is, just around the exhaust manifold, is a pipe that connects the radiator to the thermostat housing. Not the big one, but a smaller longer one. We hacked in there.

I'm bringing this one back because I still don't know where I'm going to tap into for the turbo water lines.

I was thinking of using the line that goes above the manifold that attaches to the heat shield(if its still there). I would basically just cut it and put the turbo in series with it. Anyone know what this line is? It looks like it just bypasses the thermostat and goes back to the water pump.

maybe ask in the forced induction section. im sure warmonger or one of the others may know, even if theyve only worked on 2.5s they could give you an idea.

That's EXACLY what I was thinking of doing when I was planning out my turbo stuff. You're right. If you take off the thermostat housing and look at it, that line just bypasses the radiator to help the engine heat up quicker. I think it would work just fine for the turbo cooling.
