I have been gradually loosing the peak amount of boost I get. So, now when I "get on it" I'm not seeing or "feeling" any boost, but I can hear the turbo spinning at 5K.

Also, at about 3K I get a rattling noise, which seems to be coming from the turbocharger.
And, I think the turbo is slowly leaking oil into the exhaust.

I have checked the Wastegate and BOV, and have checked for leaks. Everything checks ok. I guess the next step will be taking off the turbo.

So, it looks like I got what I paid for.
I'm already looking into purchasing a Garrett GT28RS (GT2860RS).

I cant remember all the bad threads i have read about them. Some have good experiences but bottom line they are cheap turbo's that are cheaply made.XSpower, ssautochrome, stonemountain racing=suck

Well, I think I found the problem.
Last night I took the turbocharger and manifold out of the car, and I found a torn silicone hose on the turbo compressor outlet. I'm not sure why I wasn't able to find it before. I'm in the process of taking the old engine out of the car before the new built engine goes in. Should have pics soon.

So, I guess if the cheap turbo still works I might as well use it.
I'll see what kind of power I can get out of it.
