As the title states, I will be in Rockford from Monday 8th till the evening of May 11th. I'd like to see some old faces and meet some new ones. I will be in meetings till 5P.M. each day so it would have to be after that.

 huh, don't know. I've never been there. All I have is directions to where it's at.

I live in rockford... unfortunatly, haha (its a hell hole of a place to live).

The one with the clock tower? well its actualy called "The Clock Tower"

Holiday Inn is right by the clock tower. Its just west of the 90-state street exit IIRC

And I can damn near hit the RVC automotive center from my porch with a rock, bottle, baseball (you know, some form of throwable object, like a cat or small child).

Whacha up to at the auto building? They have a great program/facility, went through it a couple years ago.

Oh, do not eat at either the Dennys, Country Kitchen, or steak and shake by the hotel. You will probably get sick. Go to IHOP down the street (1 more block west) if your hitting the food type places, or hell, just about anywhere else.

BMW is sending me there for more training to to my job better. I will keep that in mind about the food man. They are giving me $65 a day for a food alowance, don't know how the heck I'm going to use all of that.
I was planning on going up and meeting up with Crispy and Estiem one of the nights if you want to come up with me.

I'm feelin an outing to State Street!! WHoot...

I'll link Jimmy to this post... he's the official Madison planner.. and knows alot of crap thats going on.. I normally am too exhausted to do anything on a week night anymore.

On a side note... the CSVT is going back into the shop on Monday... hopefully they don't have it all week so I can take it somewhere later in the week..

w00t w00t. i'm free any time after 5pm the 9th. maybe 4pm. hehe. we have a job going out this week/end. and it's a major major pita. got my 40+already in this week, andit's only wednesday. :(

but i'm in. perhaps if we do something on tuesday we could hit up bw3's for 30c wings! (then if people are still down for it.... all-u-can-eat-free bacon at 9.) but... that's up to whomever comes out.

otherwise State Street Brats.... has the corn-fed Nebraska boy ever had a true Wisconsin Brat? YUMMY!

otherwise Quaker Steak and Lube is pretty cool and I could probably get quite a few of the RockAuto crew there to partake in some table tappers and whatnot on "Thirsty Thursday" but thats a pretty long hike if someone has to go back to RockFord.

Greatest moment was when we were building my car we all took a Brat Fest break and ran over there and pigged out after that sanding party...

Chris.. didn't you eat like 6 brats????????? I swear the mustards that they have there to pick from are godly!

I would've loved to join up with you guys but rockford is a bit of a haul for me to do on a weekday

[not to mention, my car is still on blocks... so it would infact have been a very long walk]
