Nope.

Other than bragging rights, there is no reason to go through all the extra work involved when an Escape engine practically bolts right in.

Dan G put a turbo, and i believe at least one of the cars from Xcessive Performance are in the process of getting a supercharger

There will be a couple 3L supers out as soon as those thomas night kits get delivered.

You can't do the Jaguar or LS engines because of the variable valve timing. Read the FAQ's as this get's asked about once a week.

well last i read the FAQ is says you can do it you just have to carry over all the electronics with the engine, and the LS is rwd so that makes it more difficult

You read wrong or the poster didn't know what they were talking about. How are the electronics from the LS going to run the Cougar's cluster, radio, fuel pump, etc? There was someone on CEG trying to get VVT to work using the SCT software because apparently we have the pins for it on our computer it just isn't wired up. It's much more work than it's worth. You could have spent money on a supercharger kit or turbo by the time you dump all the money into the custom work and figuring it all out.
