So no big deal just thought it was funny.. gotta light with a punk kid in a rat bagged Laser didn't think it was a turbo or anything, light turns green and I killed him, second light, kid wants more so I fugre why not beat him again... third light I get cockey lol and stop a car length behind him and give him a rev.. and STILL blow his doors off

im gonna try that sometime once the turbos in...:evil:

Yeah really. Where the hell are all these cars? I wouldnt mind racing from time to time (I also wouldnt mind driving from time to time. Hurry up extrude hone!)

Haha most active street racer, thats funny :rofl: But yeah turbo would have definatly walked me. Mmy car is totally stock looking, just tinted windows I dont know why I get so many races :) it is fun tho. But in my town theres not much to do then go crusing unless your over 18 to get into the bars/clubs and stuff. I heard somewhere that Lethbridge has the most muscle cars per capita call BS on it because I dont really know, depends on what you call a muscle car I guess. 5.0L Mustangs are like belly buttons here lol and it seems like every punk kid has a civic with a tin can muffler. We also have a lotta farmers that come in with they're trucks.
Not too many Cougars in town tho, I haven't seen another Cougar for a couple weeks now.. espically younger guys driving them.

wow try long island new york and you will just stop posting all these stupid comments. I havent one one race yet and if you have a stock cougar y are you talking?? Unless u have NAS 3L or POWER adder you have absolutly nothing

But in L.I. NY we have something called the "Avenue whihc is in my hometown and from friday ti;ll sunday night its absolutly nuts...cars from all over the island and from even out of state NJ and Conn come to race and show off their cars. We also have drag races up and down the avenue and a few spots here and there. **** is serious, but we also do have our fair share of ricers. Our cougars down here stand fair chance but to most cars there absolete. We got a Supra group and V8 group, STI group and the SRT group, we got a nasty M3 totally worked, running train on evrytone on the avenue. You'll maybe one or 2 lambo's. My buddy just got back his skyline so that will be back on the avenue. Biggest thrill is when the older guys come out and blow with there 73 trans ams, theres a blue cougar that looks like an old skool stang! Pretty insane...people on the island can vouch for this....I bete there is more crazy **** then this down in FL!

I said my Cougar LOOKS totally stock, i'm not one to buy a bunch of gofast stickers and kits with fancy lights, I'd rather just spend it under the hood for NAS as you call it:rofl: please call it nitrous. I also didn't see anything under the rules and regulations that Cougars with 2.5L engines can't post in road tales. Oh yeah and I will definatly move out to long island like Paul Walker to look for 'races' :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: gimmie a break :rofl:

then again i didn't mention any of the real fast guys in town, a friend of mine has a '72 Dodge Dart Swinger Special, with a 440 bored and stroked, huge turbo and nitrous..he told me it should run 9's or something with around 1000hp at the wheels. Like I said were a muscle car town, Theres a few pickups with 454's bunch of older SS Camaeros, and firebirds, El Caminos. etc we got TONS of muscle casrs and they'll all spank Betty. They just don't come out every night like most guys.

MY friend has a 2001 chevy malibu( The ultimate grandma car) and ive lost to him by at least two car lengths everytime we race. I mean come on the thing is fit for a 90 year old and he smokes me every time, the cougar just doesnt have the balls to back up the looks

Ok now that makes sence, I agree that the Cougar is fast, but not quick and definatly should have been faster for the looks. Personally it would have been sweet if she came stock with the 3.0L. I also have a friend with a 2000 Malibu (his is all bling'ed out with 18's and lowered) and he also lost to me by 2 lengths... the only time he beat me was when I was racing one handed...is dam hard to shift and drive in a streight line..

Wtf. My car isn't by any means fast, but I have a few 3800, 3100's under my belt, Grand Prix, Z34's, Impalas, what have you. Unless they whine, they're nothing to be afraid of.

Yeah exactily, malibu's arn't that fast, definatly shouldn't be a problem for a Cougar. I want to race my brothers friend with a Grand Prix GT..see how that turns out. Come on they're all GM too lol :rofl:
