HEY GUYS! I keep asking what you guys want and you DON"T EXPRESS YOUR OPINION!!! HELLO??? ARE YOU ALIVE?!?! DO YOU NOT CARE?!?!?! Otherwise, I am just going to post the date and that is FINAL!! I want everyone to come to the meets SO I WANT YOUR IMPUT!!!
THE MEETING DATES! PICK ONE FOR EACH EVENT!
Cookout ~ Saturday May 5th or Saturday May 19th (my choice)
Great America ~ Sunday June 3rd or Sunday June 16 (my choice)
IL NECO Fest 2001 ~ Saturday July 14 (my choice) or Saturday August 11

Well, may 5th would probobly be a little better for me, but it dosen't really matter because I don't think I will be busy.
June 3rd or Sunday June 17th/Saturday 16th, either one, I don't care.
July 14th or August 11th, don't matter to me!

any of the dates are finee with me but i would rater have the ilfest in july rater than august

Then it would be called WI Fest and you guys have that at every meeting because EVERYONE comes to your meetings from all over the state.
IL NECO Fest is going to be in IL...but WI and MO cougars are welcomed!

okay, okay May 5th is good for the chef too. I get back from Florida on the 2nd so it's all good. I'm free most of the weekends in May so whatever we decide, I'm good with. Hey what's on the menu? Who likes what? I'll be making my fierce A-1 steakburgers but I am open for suggestions. This weather rocks!! I hope it will get warmer by then.

I'm up for doing lots of stuff this summer. I am still trying to figure out my schedule. I have at least one wedding and a vacation. AND I just joined Midwest Racing today. - That's the one Karla and Tim were talking about at Dave and Busters. They have a bunch of scheduled stuff through out the summer.
Here's what I want to do with LOL-Neco. I want to go to Wisc again when it's warmer. I want to do something in centeral IL. I want to go to the cookout in may. I want to go see the corvettes in Bloomington this summer. That's all the ideas I have. Maybe go all the way to St.Louis.
Thanks for all your hard work Heather to try to keep everyone involved. Don't take a lack of posts as a lack of interest. Peeps are slow. I know I am.

I think! At least as much as I can be on a Monday. I would definately like to get together again soon. May 5th or 19th would be fine, whatever works for the majority. I am not sure about Great America but Necofest would be cool. July 14th would work best, I think we are supposed to race on the 11th. Let me extend an invitation to come to the dragway at Byron for any of our events, we need support!!! I Know you guys would be great cheerleaders. i/expressions/happy.gif Don't worry Heather I think you'll see a lot more excitement once the weather gets better, I know I'll be anxious to get out and do something!!!

....sorry I have only one suggestion. That would to go camping, but I don't think many people would go for that. Don't know about you, but I can't imagine our fearless( + hyper) leader spending the weekend outside 24 hours a day while sleeping in a tent. But I still would to go camping!!!

HOWEVER GREAT LAKES DRAGAWAY IS HAVING FREE RUNS ON SATURDAY, SO I'M GONNA BE GOING THERE THEN..

We could do camping..
but your Fearless (+ hyper) leader likes to have FLUSHED toliets and a shower W/running water. She needs those things in the camping trip. I do not pee on trees or plants. I like to be clean most of the time also. I am sure most of the women on IL NECO will agree with me here.

Anyone else about camping.
The bad things about is that our cougars might get dirty and we would have too much fun. You would be surprised how much camping junk you can actually fit in our cars.

I love camping!! My wife doesn't really go anymore, but my kids would love it! We used to go to Road America every summer for the Super Bikes and the CART cars. We'd camp across the street from the track at Plymouth Rock for 3 or 4 days -- talk about a complete drunk fest!! The only problem with the Super Bikes is that they're in the beginning of June and that's when my little guy Josh has a birthday. I actually enjoy watching them more than the cars too, but my wife wants to have a party for him so I wouldn't be able to make it. Hell, we used to camp for the big 3 day weekends at Union Grove. I'll definitely be up there this summer with the car melting some tires off -- I know it's up in Wisconsin, but we should go there as a group or I'd go to Byron also. THE MORE RACING THE BETTER!!
Anyway, that's just my 2 cents worth.

Camping is cool, I haven't been camping forever!! I am not at all fond of those nasty outhouse things either. I would need to find a huge sleeping bag guaranteed to keep the spiders out!! i/expressions/sick.gif: Other than that, I am game. We would need lots of BEER and smores!

Any of the above dates are fine with me...camping is also a good idea, with LOTS of BEER of course!!!
