NJ doesnt seem to be the most active chapter but that's cool, do you guys do any meets or is that a rareity (if thats a word).

Anyway, looking foward to my time here

We used to be the most active but then it kinda feel flat. Youll find that the most active people on here dont own cougars any more.

As for living close, I live in Cranbury as does Jeremy and everyone else lives 20-40 minutes from us.

Meets? Hopefully we all will be getting together sometime.

Yea ive noticed that a lot of people have moved on from their cougar's, but that's ok becuase that means everyone here is experienced and could give me some good advice!

Yes we have plenty of experience with the cougar here...

We used to be one of the best NECO Chapters... but then we all got older and life got in the way.

But, all I can say, is your next car will probably be a subaru... that seems to be the way we go :)

Good luck...

I didn't read your newbie post... so tell us something about you...

Hey guys, like some other people ive made a few posts with some problems I had but never introduced myself. Im 17, just got my liscense and my cougar 3 months ago. 99 v-6 ATX, with 70k on it. Rio red, and man do the girls love this car. I get some flak for it supposidly being a "girls car" but it doesnt bother me. Anyway, here's just a picture of it with my friends Eclipse Spyder GS.

Ive been doing mostly reading and everyone's been a great help. First thing I think I want to do is new wheels and tires and possibly a drop, but the roads here in central Jersey arent to best.

That's my newbie post, and as for my next car being a subaru, I wouldnt doubt it. The WRX just seems like practical speed as opposed to a 2-seater that wouldnt work out too well when I wanted to do something besides speed down the highway. I would love to have one now but they arent too cheap used. Maybe in a few years I could pick up an 04 or 05 with decent miles on it.
