WHAT TO BRING:
Whatever you'd like to 'mod' that you think can be done at a picnic shelter
lunch food
whatever else ya want.

when I booked it, I was told alcohol is not allowed in the park, so if you plan to bring drinks, I'd suggest to keep it subtle.

PARKING:
parking is a short walk away (see the map link) - so keep in mind we will not be right next to the cars.

Did u get to find out where the power is at?So i know if i need to bring an extension cord or not. How much was it?Did we get that little grill?Cuz I have rib eyes that will take a while on that lil thing but it will work.But hey at least its done and thx....ill b there bight and early.

If you are there bright and early, then go down and claim #3 :biggrin:
each shelter has power - so assume it'll be at one of the walls. An extention cord would probably be handy though.

It was $40 and believe that shelter has 2 grills.

Keith, are you bringing BBQ tools also, or does someone else need to bring some?

Well ill see as on the weekends bright and early isnt all the early lol. I can bring some bbq tools if u want but i got to be careful with what i bring as tad is putting the dragon z bumper I bought on there.

Goldie do u have any bbq tools?if u do could u maybe bring some so I make sure i have room. Im already bringing meat,proabably some potato salad, beans or something.

Maybe we can get someone to bring plastic silverware and plates. Im bringing rib eyes,salad and beans...hot dogs too lol.

So if someone can bring bbq tools,plates and silverware that would b cool.

I actually just found out about the meet yesterday, and ended up joining the forum. I just got my 02' Coug back from the paint shop and its looking great. Looking forward to becoming a bigger part of the forum.

EXACTELY, see I have enough to worry about! haha! I'm trying to find a new way too keep my igloo from melting.... and another way to keep my husky/wolfs from overheating when they pull my cougar sled.......

so theres about a 50% chance now that I won't be able to come.... depends if my boss depends to be a jerk and pay me on monday or if he'll pay me on friday! I just bought some MSDS headers and then realized I don't have any spare money until my next paycheck.... so fingers crossed that I get paid on friday!

no I can do math... really well infact, it was more of a I just got a great deal on my headers a couple days ago on the for sale thread and knew this might jepordize my trip! :( but my boss has never paid us on the monday when the 30th has been on a sunday before, but he's unpredictable sometimes and by law he technicly doesn't have to pay us until monday... but all fingers crossed saying he pays us on friday like he always has in the past (my boss is kinda weird and sometimes just changes things... like when he pays us... kinda pisses me off actually, but that's my problem!) anyways I'll keep you guys up to date!

I'll try and remeber to bring my car care **** in hopes it will be nice! and I'll try and bring 2 buckets and a bunch of clothes too and some soap incase anyone wants to give her a quick touch up wash! I also have nanowax anyone can use, it's not too bad, not a paste though...! and some meguires interior detailer and tire shine so we can all look good in our group pictures hehe!

Hey man I guess I missed seeing you down there! I got held up at the border, woulda been nice too meet you, but you gotta come and hang out for awhile at the next 1!

and thx everyone for having me and my buddy Jeff! I had a good time and made it home nice and safe even after travelling at 100 80% of the way home haha and even so at midninght did you know that theres tons of traffic at the border.... I was stuck there for like an hour on the way back :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Oh and guess what I forgot about my window and that switch.... I had to open my door at the border and the border guard was questioning me about it and then questioning me about all the mods to my car haha! But I just said I had none that were illegal and she let me go through haha, I always have a problem getting into my own damn country lol!

So yah this morning I woke up and realised I had no window and I wasn;t as tired as I was last night so I actually had a look at it for the first time to see if maybe I could fix it and so I grabbed my tools and went to my thinking chair (the john as res would say HAHAHAHA) and 5 minutes later I walked out with a fully working switch again lol! now to fix my other LED's that you guys saw weren;t so good last night!

Hey thx cody everything was going fine until goldie touched them. So reminder to all be careful when working on leds...keep goldie away lol. But ya it was fun and the next one has to be in some good weather and can you photoshop the other gold cougar I think i saw a old lady getting out of it as she mustve parked in the wrong spot...:biggrin: . Looks almost completely stock except for the great flag idea lol...

Glad to see you got home melinda did tico make it too?Would be a shame for sometrhing to happen to tico....:evil: ..

haha! okay remeber how the piece broke on that 1 green one! like that copper looking crap that went around on both sides! well it wasn't broken on the one that wouldn't click, it just was bent ever so slightly, just enough to make the little tab on those copper pieces that fall out and are easy too loose, it was just enough to make the little leg on that copper piece sit on the stationary piece underneith where as if it wasn;t bent it would sit about a half a mm off of there and when you click the button the sides would push the button down until it hits the stationary piece that it was sitting on! so I just took a small screw driver and ever so gently bent them back into place and now it works fine! I have no clue if you can imagine what I'm talking about, but oh well all that matters is that I have a red switch now that works again haha!
