i can make it either day....and ill bring the rib eyes for some led work lol...anything else that youd want to do or can b done?

Anything else that you guys have done to your cars that youd recommend?

haha does the rib eye have my name on it too :tongue: haha! it sounded so delicious with the marinating and so forth that you were talking about haha! and sure I'd do some LED work up for yah! and if we can't do electrical stuff there I can just give you mine and you can give me your green and I'll just mod mine up back at home seen as I like doing these :biggrin: I'd have to re-touch up some of my work though before I traded you the finished products as I have 1 connection that is odd and doesn;t work sometimes (until I push the button) and the otherone has a burnt out bulb that needs replacing....!

this place has shelters and stuff like that too (for a fee)... but we would probably be able to hook up to some power outlets doing that too.

The BBQ shelters are $30 - but no power. The building has power but the rental fee on it is WAY more.

Only 1 I dunno if I can fix is the rear deforst button! I let my buddy do that 1 and the light I'm not sure if it'll ever will work again, although the button still works haha!

Alright sounds good boarder and hey does anyone have anything to sell?Aftermarket or anything? And somethin funny happened yesterday I was watching baseball at my house when a black 99 cougar pulled up to my house. I was wondering who it was so I went out and it was my sister lol. She bought a base model 99 atx 2.5l. I guess I didnt realize how much she liked my car but theres no foglights,overhead safety lights and no console.

I dont know which model that makes it but theres also no spoiler. Im trying to get her to come along to the meet also so everyone can meet everyone and she can see what kind of mods can be done.

So boarder get that isht done lol and anything else you can think of to do while were there?

Any other mods you can think of?Anything exterior?Im buying a visteon scoop already painted laser red so I think maybe Ill bring that along and some good 3m tape. Or maybe actually drill some holes and im not quite sure how well the tape job looks.

I just bought some carbon fiber mirror caps and theyll get here 2morrow...50 bucks shipped wasnt too bad and I was curious on how they look with the laser red paint...well see. Damn almost bought 19;s on here but too damn late lol.

Ya lol just wanted to say that as a female president is kinda nice...i bought carbon fiber mirror caps which ill put on...but i also bought 2 autometer gauges and 2 pillar pod....oil and voltmeter.

as far as laser red painted cf mirror caps go.. uhh wtf?
you aren't supposed to paint those.. some people do a tinted clear over them.. see redbaron1 for some pics of that.. well actually he has clear tinted fenders that are CF.. I'm not sure about CF mirror caps.. but you can see what i mean with that.. anyway..

I'm down for either day.. this place is pretty close to me so lemme know if help is needed getting this event set up..

oh.. and i think popped collars should be outlawed at this event..

haha tad I don;t recall him saying he was going to paint his C/F mirror caps :S unless I missed it! my C/F CAI that I just bought was 300 US for the extension and 360 for the whole kit (including filter and pipes and such) Popped callars, well I'm just gonna say stop being jelous.... haha! oh and I know the rear defrost is just an LED I replaced it and well I was trying to take the old 1 out I must have screwd 1 of those gold tweezer prongs up because now no matter what I do my rear defrost LED won;t light up (I've tried quite a bit, but I can always try again now that I'm not as pissed about it)

I was figuring kinda early too, I'm going to say like 11 for me though as the boarders normally busier at 8 than it is at 9 (I need to leave 2 hours earlier than it starts) maybe even noon and we can do lunch or something, give me a bit of sleep in and I can still have a shower and breakfast and come down and make it with tons of time! Because it's light until what... 6-7 now! That should give us enough time for most stuff! Up to you guys and gal though! Not really a big deal I think 3 of us have a 2 hour comute or so... anyways that would be a good thing to consider, good call Keith! oh and goldie (I wish I knew your real name hehe) thanks for that information, where abouts is northgate....anyone???? haha maybe we could take a jont down there and do an hour of shopping or so hehe! Always gotta love the US stuff that I don;t get in Canada.... (including J in the B :D)

i'd rather not mess with putting it on just because i don't wanna bring all my tools that would be needed to adjust anything if it doesn't fit right.. a bodyshop will do that for you

Hey I was looking at that link that Tad sent, I was just wondering if we were dead set on Golden Gardens, because for the same price for a shelter (assuming it has a BBQ because it doesn't say, that I could see) we could get a spot at Magnolia Park and it has electrical outlets for FREE!

yah I have been looking at a bunch of the ones that say that there is free electricity at the shelters and by the looks of it, the magnolia shelter doesn;t have any table under the shelter (incase of our best friend rain) and it just says they have electricity outlets, doesn't say they are in or near the shelter though....

SO... I checked out another bigger park with a beach called lincoln park, there shelters are a bit more (40 bux for a basic shelter, or 50 bux is a bit bigger and nicer and 60 bux gets you a fire place in the shelter haha) but they all have "low amperage" outlets at each of the shelters, as well as there just off of the beach with a nice view out over the water with no trees in the way or anything! and the tables are under cover (40 dollars has 1 table undercover, 50 and 60 have 2 I believe, but we're a small family anyways) We have I believe 4 people who have said they'll put in for the shelter, so I don't see a few extra bux being a problem! and then we should be able to mod a bit too, as low amperage should be enough to power a soldering gun atleast! feedback??????

if you are getting LEDs, you want 3mm sized. don't know what the spec is on the stock bulbs though.

why do you want the stock bulbs part numbers if you are putting in LED's?

As far as putting the bumper on for you.. I can do it weather permitting.
It might require some fiberglass cutting and putting plies back on, etc.
that's not only expensive but time consuming.. also how am i gonna run my tools? I guess I don't have to use airtools but it sure is a lot easier with them
If you are staying the weekend I can likely arrange something
i'll consider..

I can stay the weekend if need be...and I didnt want the stock bulbs just the leds...sorry about that. Im gonna order some 3mm bulbs in different colors in case someone wants to do some things at the meet.

I was gonna buy a few of the dragon z bumpers on here but most were for like 75 bucks or so but shipping killed me each time so ya.

ANyway let me know....and is someone gonna reserve the lincoln park one or what?Ill pitch in whatever is needed...ill put in 40 and u guys can split the other 20 if u want i dont care.

Hey guys sounds good on the Leds...I got a big questikon here. Has anyone done any UIM work on our motors?I was talking to tronic and I think got a good offer on a direct port nitrous setup. Here what he said:

Okay... first and foremost, direct port dry systems are useless. You'll blow you're motor faster than you know.

I've got 1 direct port UIM fitted for NX shark nozzles ready to go. I'll build an entire kit for your application for $900. This includes the EH UIM, bottle, rails (1 fuel, 1 nitrous), all lines, RPM window switch, bottle heater and blow down tube. This will by far be the best price you'll ever find.

Alright sounds good and thanx for getting the reservations. What a great president lol. I finally got my carbon fiber mirror caps they look real nice but take some getting used to i guess.

Ok… so talked to someone with Seattle’s Park Dept., and due to some construction project on the beach at Lincoln Park’s shelters 3-4 , they are not reserving these until May 1st. Construction may or may not be completed by the 29th.
We can either reserve 1-2-5 –or- chance it and use 3-4 on a first come first serve basis (and for no fee).
As a reminder, 3-4 are a little larger & closer to parking. And 3 has the fireplace too.
Do we want to just show up and try for 3-4 or reserve one of he others?

How big is number 5?Ill put in 30 bucks...then it would only b like 13 bucks for 3 other people. I myself would like it to be guarnteed so theres no worries as in driving 3 hours and bringing a lot of meat I dont want to go to waste.

I think we should just try for 3-4 myself, the other 3 didn't really intrest me in there pictures and I'm sure if 3-4 were out we could still take 1 of the outdoor grills too cook it up with! I dunno thats just me, I kinda fell in love with 3 but 4 was a close seconde.....

As long as theres power and its reserved i dont care. So whatever el presidente decides to itll be fine. So as long as theres a place to cook,power and its reserved its all good. If we go to a bigger shelter ill help pay more....so get it done gurl lol.:)

I'm thinking we should reserve # 1-2 then if 3-4 are available when we are there, we can move over if they look that much better.

hey slavicoug, don;t worry man, I don;t have anything that can be moded real close either (well except for fixing my LED's up) but I can bring you down some of my spare LED's that are red or maybe for a few bux you could get some solder and red LED's off of Keith (99cougarred) and you could do that up with us at the meet, I'm gonna try and bring 1 of my soldering irons down too and my red LED's and I'll go buy some electric solder and once I'm across the boarder I'll try and pick up some snack foods for everyone (I don't like bringing food across the boarder) and yah maybe I'll try and bring my dremel and heat gun down and if we have a good day maybe I'll do someones clear corners (I have left over material from mine clears that whoever wants it can have if we feel like getting into it, but it's a fairly long trial and error mod for cutting and forming.......)

the red LEDs, we'd have to take off the whole dash right? i actually don't have a soldering iron, but it might be cool to do the LEDs. Don't think i've ever seen it before. Otherwise the only thing i'd be able to do is maybe install the one foglight i have, and hopefully someone might turn up with another one that i can take off their hands by then, but thats 20 minutes of work tops.
