This ain't even a contest, Centerline just because of the weight.

I think the Konig's look better though....whats the actual weight difference? The 18 inch enkei's I just got are only 20 lbs a wheel....42 lbs with the tire...Rubber is heavy!!!!

I agree w/ Bbox on the Centerlines. Those only weigh 15.5 lbs a piece, correct? Plus, they look better!

Centerlines are 17lbs, and konigs are 26lbs.

Go with the Centerlines. A much better wheel, unless you are going with Konig Holes.

Thats a pretty nice Konig rim there but the Centerline is also nice and has a way better weight, so go with the Centerlines!

centerline wheels are 245 per wheel, and the konig ones are 210.

both look very nice but the centerline ones are so much lighter...but for me it would be the cost for each...if the centerline was cheaper..done....

go with with the centerlines, for 35$ dollars more a rim your saving yourself almost 10 pounds a rim.

If it was just cosmetics on looks which wheels would look better on my car?

Will that fifty pounds make that big of a difference?

Will that fifty punds make that big of a difference?
Holy god yes. Its actually a nine-pound difference per wheel, so 4x9 = 36. That may not sound like a lot, but when you're talking about wheels, one pound of weight on the wheels is equivalent to four pounds of weight off the body due to the fact it takes less power to rotate the mass. So, that 36 pounds actualy translates to about 144 pounds in weight difference, meaning a more sprightly Cougar with better gas mileage.

I like the KONIG TUNER 2 I think they would look sick on your car , but think about choose the rims you want you might be saving on gas and weight but someone out there will always have a faster car out there and be paying morw gas then you so go for what you like.

Number one your car is hot. That blue with the carbon fiber and such. Looks really good.
Number two go with the centerlines and take it to a body shop or cusotm paint shop with a powdercoating machine.

Normally I would say go with the Centerlines immediately! However, I think the Konig's would look better on your car. They add more style like the widebody kit does and the color combo will flow better.
As for weight, who cares? Doesn't look at all like you're going for performance, so why does a few extra pounds matter at all?

Thank god I got mine on clearance!
Do you have to have 19's? You can get the Vantages like what I have on my car in 18x7" for $149 a wheel . . .

yea i was looking at 19's... the excel's are not nearly as expensive in 19's, but i'll make my decision tomorrow! Getting some BF KDW, koni's, ground controls and getting it repainted. I'll be sure to post pics when I get my everything in. Does anyone kno if they make like a c/f trunk lid??

I prefer the konigs, but thats just because I've seen them in person on a coug before and never seen the centrelines in person on a coug! I think they'll both look sick though!

I have the konig troubles 18" ... even if they are heavier than the centerlines... you cant buy horrible mags because they are lighter... you are going to be stuck with them ... and anyways ... who knows that centerline are lighter then konig ... go with konig ...nicer mags.. I wouldnt care about the weight ...do you think there's a huge difference in ETA ??? come on ...
and by the way.. dont buy mags that people like ... buy the one you like ...what people thinks should be in second place... or if people would pay then they would have a word to say... but in ure case

weight of the wheels will have a LARGE effect on a car's acceleration. 4lbs heavier per wheel = 2mph lost in my trap speed.

i got excels in black pearl but 18's they are light and look awesome. i have the only 5 excels in 18's for my car. they have no more for my 5th its a blemish one i got for 150 shipped. it had a tiny nic in the powdercoating on the spoke, u cant even tell......i love the excels. but i am just partial to centerline.
what color if u get the centerlines' do u want to powdercoat them
