I'm not sure who's hands this is in now, but is this going to be made? I know a lot of video was taken, ie Nemesis' tray sliding session :rofl:
Just wondering is this is still in the works, maybe to have done by this years Fest?

There are still CF04 DVD's available, if you want one just PM me or Brad (AtomicInternet) and we'll letcha know.
I can say that I know for a fact the 05 DVD is "in the works" to be completed by 06. The physically saw the video data change hands a few weeks ago, so it is in progress...

Sorry, but backorders of CF videos will only be available on laser disc and 35mm slideshows now. ;)

Last I heard there just wasn't enough footage to make a video. But I could be wrong, its been awhile. We'll have to wait for Brad to chime in here...

I have 6 hours of shaky pitch-black cruise video, a 15 second shot of tray sliding, and maybe 10 minutes of track runs. Instead of making a 20 minute DVD out of what was watchable I just held off and gave Excelcier all the footage I had. He also agreed it was crap. If anyone has good footage (like the 2004 DVD had) and can get me either their tapes or the source on DVD's just PM me and I'll try to put one together.
Smitty2430: upload what you have to http://video.google.com and post the link here. I just remember the tray sliding and a few good shots, but it wasn't enough for a full DVD.
Anyone willing to donate video this year please make sure you get variety. Specifically some daytime shots, some glow off shots, some how-to shots, and most importantly, scandalous party shots.

Yeah the shaky stuff was mine. Sorry! I thought it came out better than it did and didnt realize that till I got home to watch it all.
Ok so I have lots of video but not high quality like you're looking for.

I'm bringing a camera this year. Hopefully the friends seem to say yes on letting me borrow the camera. So is that is the case I will be taping 24/7. Okay I lie. When I'm sleeping I won't be taping but you get my point.
Jenny. I'll be sober. (unless jager is around) So pictures shall be taken and whatnot.

I've had 3 PM's asking about the 2004 DVD so I'll answer them here in case anyone else is curious:
What's on the 2K4 DVD?
Cougars, drunken cougar owners, and autocross/drag runs with Cougars. It's NOT a slideshow set to music (don't know where that came from), it's 100% live action video content, anyone on here who's seen it will attest that it's decent. A good representation of Cougarfest 2004.
Will you be bringing any Cougarfest 2K4 DVD's?
I'm bringing about 10 really nice inkjet printable DVD-R's with full color printing including a slim CD jewel case I'll be selling for $5 each. I'll also have 10-15 run-of-the-mill DVD-R's with sharpie writing on it that says "CF2K4" I'll be selling for $1 just to recoop the cost of the DVD-R.
Can I make a copy of the Cougarfest 2K4 DVD?
By all means, go crazy. In fact if you have a DVD burner you can bring along with some blank DVD's let me know who you are so I can point people to you if I run out. I'm not looking to make money on these, just to get ultra-famous and move to California so I can start my acting career.
Can I reserve a copy?
Yeah just PM me and I'll make sure I hold on to one for you. Any that aren't claimed by Saturday at 6pm are up for grabs.

Ha! I took a lot of party/drunken video last year, and as I took it I thought all my commentary was funny. Until the next morning, when I was stone-cold sober, and my commentary was anything but.
My rule this year... don't drink, video-record, and talk at the same time.

I'll run around with my vid cam attached to my arm as much as possible this year. I want everyone to gather a lot of video footage from the actual show events this year such as the glow-off and the show and shine. That's where everyone's cars really shine. Then we'll have much good material for a 2006 video.

Okay, when I said "drunk" what I meant was a wee bit on the tipsy side. We don't have to go alllll the way to drunk. Then again, if I teach to play 3 man, and you enjoy the game...it may be unavoidable. Just...pace yourself :biggrin:
