That right Koozies, I know there shotglasses for the power drinkers but for those that prefer the canned berverage I have the answer, Cougarfest koozies. I have teamed up with Matt (ND4SPD) to get an image to use Since my PS skills are no where near his.

OK here is what I have for you guys.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y260/Ronrazz/kooziefront.jpg

Now I know this one is very similar to that of CF 03 but this is not the point of the koozies this is the largest best advertising Image that works well in monocolor printing.
They are going to run $5 for one, and $4 each for two or more koozies. There is a minimum order of 100 on koozies from the company.

Right now Im am trying to figure out whether these are going to be a hit and how many are really interested in how many.

I love this idea, the one thing for me is that i dont think ive drank out of a can more than afew times in the past few years. So is there any chance you will do these as long neck koozies ? I checked they are doable but cost alot more.... few sites i checked it was 6-75c for cans and around 2.50-3 dollars for long necks. So anyway id pay more for a long neck version :)

Well I looked around too and found them to be almost three times the cost of the can koozies from the company I am getting them from. I really dont want to put too many options out there and have this turn into a nightmare for me to sort out.

I dont think 2 options is getting out of hand. And yes thats what i said... they cost about 3 times the price but only about 2 dollars more. And i dont know what you planed to charge.... but lets say you were gonna do 5 Dollars for a Can Koozie, id be willing to pay 7 or 8 for a bottle koozie or 3. Since that way id actually use it.

Some of the sites i checked had no minimum or a minimum of 25. But they had better price breaks over 100 or 125 depending on the site.

what about color of choice? I'd be willing to throw some cash at some orange ones!

Will they hold cups as well as a can? I'm the person with a cup o Bacardi O at all times.

hey ronno, you could definitely put me down for five to make it an even 20 bucks. any options on colors?

SlowKitty

...and these are the collapsible ones correct?

Ronrazz

Yes these are the collapsible ones.

As for different colors there is a 50 koozie min for each color.

the bottle koozie is just not affordable or marketable because the can koozies only cost a third as much as the bottle one which would also have a 100 koozie miminium to get them.

What every one doesnt know is that the koozie cost is not the only cost, there are the screen fees which to do a bottle one requires another screen so yet another charge also there is an art fee which would be a one time fee to convert the image to a vector format. All of those costs rolled in to one dont leave much room for a profit to be donated to fest.

As for a cup fitting I guess as long as its the size of a can it would work.

I'd probably buy a couple. Any thoughts to putting an " '06 " on there so we can get people to buy them again in '07, '08, etc.? :)

Crispy

how bout artwork? can the minimum be split to make the pricing decent? I'd be willing to fork cash for some TeamNECO koozies (50-100) -- I could sell them at fest or in our store.

Well thats nice thanks for you opinion.

I do not plan on making bottle koozies because the total cost associated with them are to high for fest to really profit from them so I plan on sticking just can koozies. Now at the site you have found they may be cheaper but I choose the maker of my choice because of the quality and service they have already provided me. Can koozies have plenty of interest that I am happy with. And it seems that there are not many voicing similar concerns over over this issue.

Now you are more then welcome to produce bottle koozies yourself. I am just doing what I think will benifit fest best.

This will be my last post on the subject.

While no one else is talking... my poll shows 90% + drink bottles. Yes it would cost at least double for bottles but you could charge more. And i really think you would have better sales.

Anyway good luck, and at least your trying to do something which is more than lazy people like myself. I would try and do the bottles myself but i have no capital to use for things like this being a broke college student at the moment.

silly Doug... always trying to start a ruckus. :tongue:

If it means that much to ya, at Cougarfest, I will pour your beer in a cup, then put the cup in the koozie so it fits :biggrin:

I would buy one, if you waited and used the actual CF logo. A different logo just wouldn't mean the same.

Well pending on what the actual image is that is entirely possible but I was using this one for the fact that it advertised our event well. If the logo works well on the koozies thats fine but the uncertainty of the logo I just used the one that worked best for the moment.

02-18-2006, 02:14 PM
what about if they were "neco" koozies, rather than "cougarfest" ones?

you could just ditch the text, and just use the logo if you wanted:)
probably will want to make the cougarhead more '3-D' in the final version if thats the case.

I see a LOT more cans than bottles at CF, tho. Including what is purchased by the left-over money.

Ummm . . . time for a little algebra here . . .

4x=20

x=20/4

x=5

Now, if x=12, then

4(12)=20

48=20

48 DOES NOT EQUAL 20.

Hey Ron, what's your major again? :tongue:

I want to be able to help in any way possible... thats all. I wouldn't mind having like 6 of them for the shop and the rest goes towards fest in some way.

This thread will be locked and replaced with a new thread with more information, a better poll, and a better image of what people will be buying. All of which to make things easier for me to keep more accurate account what everyone wants.
