I hope you have 2 keys as well..you'll need them for the bypass programming.

I bought a Viper system off another member and it has the remote start feature. Had it installed by a shop and it's worked great since. It's a Viper 550se if you wanna look into one.

Yeah mine's a manual and I have remote start with an older alarm system but it works very well. Now I can get extra keys made for very cheap and they aren't bulky.

So long as you don't tell anyone they hid the PATS chip in the dash you shouldn't have to worry about anyone stealing the car.

yeah when I first got the system installed I was a bit worried about one of the keys being up in the dash, but I got over it.

WHOA! Take that isht out and get the bypass. All it takes is one idiot to figure it out and your car goes by-by.

yeah but you can't see it because it's way up into the dash. Not only that if you start my car without disarming it the whole car locks up. My windows roll up sunroof closes etc when you try and disconnect any power. If you do manage to start the car and try and get away as soon as you hit the brake the whole car shuts down.
I have confidence, besides if you break into MY car, what you can extract from it will be worth almost as much as you get for the car, if not more.
