Yes my tranny is slipping...and worst of all it comes at a time I'm using the majority of my funds to finish the exterior and interior of my car. I want to get a beefed up tranny and eventually a 3.0swap...will the tranny I get built for the car be convertible to the 3.0l. I have a 99 atx...

yes a 2.5 auto tranny will bolt up to a 3L.

Bobkabob's 1-2 shift solenoid is going / has went. I haven't spoken to him in about a month. His alternator is also gone.
But that car SCREAMS. It is extremely fast... wouldn't doubt a low 14 in the 1/4.

Most important thing when upgrading to a 3L or Hybrid when you have an ATX....
TRANNY COOLER.
Please for the love of god install an aftermarket tranny cooler. The stock one does about as good cooling off the transmission as a smurf with a paper fan would.
