Meet ideas

So... its time to discuss meet ideas.

Feb's meet is this Saturday... and the only other meet after that is Cougarfest on July 7th.

So let's discuss some ideas for meets before then. I'm thinking we need at least two... one in April, one in June.

Post up some ideas. Anything goes.

I thought of you when I was writing that message, but didn't want to prod. I think another mod day and camping at your place would be awesome.

Volo Auto Museum is a good idea... got any details? Website?

Also, I forgot... last year in May the weekend before Memorial Day there was a meet to go Go Karting all day in the Dells. It can actually be done as a day trip.

It's about 10-15 min from my parents place, and I used to go there all the time. They've expanded a lot in the last few years, but unfortunantly have gotten more commercial (a lot of movie cars now :()at the same time. They have a lot of interesting cars though.

well the lakefront segway thing is very "controlled" but you can also get 1 day "loaners" from the segway store. I'd love to do that, but there is no way I could loan one and not take it apart.

I know some nice driving just north of Chicago that you wouldn't believe. We can start downtown then go for a caravan drive.

hmm.... well... crap. Sorry... let me find out what days work and then I'll start actually planning something. Likely no meet for March... but definitely for April. I'll be back.

with my schedule the only time i can have my meet and still have it before fest is to do it memorial day weekend, May 27-28th. I know that a lot of people do family stuff but this summer with everything going on i dont have a lot of free weekends

I can have it after fest but then we'd have to wait till august.
